Another Snippet of Firebug
I gave you a small one on the last blog post -- the one where I revealed the title. But I figured I would give you another little bite to tide you over. After all, September 23 is a long way away...
Oh, man. I just realized that's only 7 months. A long time for you guys...short time for me. *breathes into a paper bag*
Stay tuned--I think we *might* have a cover reveal coming up soon. If I don't remember to post the link here, I'll most likely put it on my facebook page and twitter (@TeamDamnation) repeatedly. Because I will be SO EXCITED.

Title reveal! Woooooo!
Hey team, remember when I revealed this? You probably don't. It was ages ago, and the Internet has the attention span of methed-out lemmings. So I have another book coming out in the fall and I'm really excited about it. My wonderful cover art team have shown us some preliminary art to let us know what direction they're going in and I am thrilled. I can't reveal that yet, but I can finally give you a title. Ready?

The Problem with Minion
If you haven't read Necromancing the Stone, which just came out in paperback by the way, so really you have no excuse (also, the paperback has a cut scene in it! Yay, bonus material!) then this post will be absolutely chock full of spoilers. If such things bother you, than it would be best to ignore this post until such times as after you've read the book or you stop caring about spoilers, which for many of you might be never.
It's cool. I'll give you a minute to think about it. *Sings the Jeopardy theme*
Still there? Excellent.

Link to Writing Articles for Teen (and non-teen) Writers! Also, another thing!
I've posted a few of these on facebook and whatnot, but I felt a link on here wouldn't hurt. This site has been posting blog posts from me once a month and they are geared toward people who want to sharpen their writing skills. It's nice, because they are written for teen writers especially, though really the advice is good for all. And I don't mean my advice. I always feel like kind of a jerk spouting writing tips, because I tend to make things up as I go along, and therefore I feel like I'm tricking everyone involved.

Traveling Story - Season 1- Episode 3
July 15, 2013
This week--The Traveling Story!
This week I'm part of the Traveling Story, which is the brainchild of author Jessica Brody. Basically, she rounded up 5 authors and we each wrote part of a story. We had total control of our section and it took the story to some really interesting places. Basically, it was a lot of fun and a nice, free thing to offer to you guys.

Prepping my Mouse Ears
So I'm immersed in the last of my trip planning for the YAppiest event--do I get the park hopper pass or the regular? When can I meet up with my apartment sitter? Should I get a shuttle to the airport?--and honestly, I'm both excited and tired already. But I'm almost done! I'm looking forward to meeting new authors, bloggers, librarians, and fellow book nerds. I'm excited to ride some rides, eat some churros, and be absolutely ridiculous ALL DAY. It will be fun, yo.

A post to celebrate Unremembered!
Jessica Brody has had some great guest posts (with give aways!) to celebrate the upcoming release of her new book Unremembered! You should go check it out. I've just added my post about some truly mortifying events in my past. Check it out, wince, and then enter to win things!

To the Book Depository! (Go Team Book.)
So, like many of you, I read this a few days ago. And it made my head explode. It was one of those articles that hit almost every major aspect of my life. I'm a writer. I'm also a bookseller and the bookstore I work in is directly above a library. There is so much wrong with what this guy said that I walked around the store sputtering to every employee I can find.

Blog Post...FOR SCIENCE!
Hey guys,
Writing books is a process where you spend 90% of your time just trying to figure things out. How will this plot line work? What will this character do? How does this world work? And so on-it's a nice and wonderful puzzle and there's nothing quite like discovering how things will fall into place.
