2012 shoot days of 1,808 up 45% over previous year for Chicago
Read this interesting article published in Reel Chicago, regarding the successful year Chicago has experienced in 2012 with regards to movies, TV series and commercials that were shot in the city.
Meanwhile, yours truly almost got frostbitten last Friday while working a 14-hour shift on the set of Chicago Fire, most of it happening outdoors in bitter cold temps and with snow on the ground. Cannot wait to see the new episodes, though, as I love watching this TV series.

MISS NYET’S LATIGO ANCHOR BRACELET WORN BY MODELS ON THE RUNWAY
We just received photographs (courtesy of photographer Pete Hill) from the fashion show that took place, back in December, at Bevy in Chicago. The event, called the GREEN RIBBON GALA, and hosted by Amber Autum, aimed to celebrate Chicago green businesses and benefited Chicago Gateway Green.
The Green Goddess Boutique, Chicago’s ‘must-go-to’ store for all your sustainable fashion needs, was given the responsibility to provide the fashion show stylists with clothes and accessories to dress the models on the catwalk.
We were thrilled to hear they chose the Latigo Anchor Cuff by Delphine Pontvieux (from her winter 2012 Miss Nyet Jewelry line) to adorn the wrists of the models during the fashion show.
