LAUNCH OF EQUESTRIAN COLLECTION AT LA MARTINA FEMALE POLO TOURNAMENT
Please see below a recap with photos and video of the fifth La Martina female beach polo tournament, which took place yesterday, Thursday April 25th, on the sands of Miami Beach between 20th and 22nd streets. With 24 female polo players in competition, this event precedes the mens Beach Polo World Cup, which will take place over the course of the next three days.
It was the perfect day to launch my new Equestrian collection, given these fearless and competitive ladies were the very inspiration for my spring/summer collection. Plus it was a beautiful day at the beach: warm, sunny and just the perfect amount of breezy.
BOOTH SET UP
Our Miss Nyet Booth was set up in the VIP area, adjacent to the grandstand, early in the morning.
THE POLO COMPETITION AND AWARDS CEREMONY
The polo tournament started around noon, and went on until about 5 pm.
The award ceremony took place around on the polo field at the end of the day. Winners were presented with the trophy as well as La Martina Polo Helmets and Grey Goose vodka gifts.
I was introduced by the Polo Life emcee to deliver a speech about the launch of my collection, and to present all the participants in the tournament with a new original creation from my Equestrian collection, the Stirrup Choker.
Judging by the ladies’ reaction on the photo and video below, the choker necklace hit the mark.
Most players put it around their necks right away and gushed that “It was the best present they ever received at this tournament!”

SOUTH BEACK POLO KICK OFF PARTY AT JAMES ROYAL PALM HOTEL
These are the photos from the Beach Polo World Cup kick off party, which took place at the James hotel on Collins and 15th street in South Beach on Wednesday, April 24th, from 7 to 9 pm.
All the female polo teams who will compete tomorrow were introduced to the audience. Each team of three fabulous players is sponsored by various companies, such as Grey Goose, W hotels, or again E!, the TV network, which will be covering the event tomorrow.
Here, at Miss Nyet HQ, we are all rooting for the LA MARTINA team, led by its three fearless players, including my wonderful friend CoCo, pictured in the middle. Needless to say, this is the team we are rooting for tomorrow!
Everyone got to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous trophy, which will go to the winning female team at the end of the tournament tomorrow night.
And last but not least, a picture of CoCo and I, before the craziness starts tomorrow.

MNJ TO LAUNCH NEW ‘EQUESTRIAN’ COLLECTION AT BEACH POLO WORLD CUP THIS WEEK IN SOUTH BEACH, FLORIDA
Miss Nyet Jewelry announces the imminent launch of its Spring/Summer Collection 2013:
THE EQUESTRIAN COLLECTION
This new leather jewelry collection is inspired by horses and everything equestrian. As such, it is fitting that it will be officially launched during the ninth annual La Martina Miami Beach Polo World Cup, the world’s largest and most prestigious Beach Polo competition, taking place from April 25 to April 28 between 20th and 22nd Streets on the sands of South Beach, Florida.
Miss Nyet Jewelry features original, one of a kind unisex jewelry that is inspired by Delphine Pontvieux’s many passions. Her 2012 collection, which is currently highlighted in the annual swimsuit issue of Southern Boating Magazine, had a nautical theme. This year, her designs are all things equestrian.
Pontvieux has taken the energy of the event and incorporated the elegance and fearlessness of Polo into her line of handmade beautifully dyed hides, which feature unisex leather cuffs, bracelets, as well as chokers. She has also launched a matching line of dog collars — a must have for every horse lover and their four-legged companion!
Pontvieux was also commissioned by The Polo Life, the organization committee of the La Martina Miami Beach Polo World Cup IX, to create a distinct piece of jewelry to be given as gift to all the female polo players in competition during the Trophy ceremony on Thursday, April 25th.
If you will be one of the 5,500 guests expected each day, come pay a special visit to Miss Nyet’s Jewelry display, located on the beach between 20th and 22nd street and meet the designer, Delphine Pontvieux. Her Polo collection will be sold exclusively at the four-day event before it officially launches online from May 15th on.

CHICAGO EVENT: BENCHES ON DIVISION’S OPEN HOUSE
Benches on Division is a metal smithing studio downtown chicago.
In addition to giving awesome classes, they just expended their studio and they are now gearing up to turn the front of the studio into a full blown artisan jewelry boutique.
You guessed it, they are going to carry a fine selection of Miss Nyet Jewelry in store!

MISS NYET JEWELRY FEATURED IN SOUTHERN BOATING MAGAZINE
The annual swimsuit issue of Southern Boating magazine is out.
This year, the models and their captains took their power boats to the famed Stiltsville, a historical location at sea, where Biscayne bay, near Miami, meets the edge of the earth.
In addition to the beautiful swimsuits they modeled, you can see them wearing Miss Nyet Jewelry around their wrists.
