INTRODUCING A NEW DESIGN: THE STAR NECKLACE
Following in the steps of THE SAILOR necklace/choker, comes its cousin, THE STAR.
Also made of parachute cord and fully adjustable, the STAR comes with a silver-plated sea star pendent that measures over two inches in diameter.
As for the silver-plated beads, which serve to adjust the size of the necklace, they come in the shapes of an open-mouthed fish, a cute little sea star or a seahorse.
Just like the Sailor, you can choose between a rainbow of colors, 33 in total.
But unlike the sailor, we do not recommend you get this necklace wet. Since it is plated in silver, getting it wet or in contact with certain chemicals could cause the silver to tarnish.
Create yours today!

INTRODUCING A NEW DESIGN: THE SAILOR
Now there’s a truly original creation for you.
This necklace is called “the Sailor” because the pendant is a genuine stainless steel awning pulley, the kind that is found on sailing boats. The cord is made of parachute rope, which will not rot or get damaged when wet. Which means, you can go fishing, swim or dive in the ocean without ever needing to take it off.
Its length is fully adjustable, and can be worn as a necklace or as a choker.
Again, this is a unisex piece that will look equally attractive around the neck of a man or a woman, and is available in 33 colors.
All for a price less than…YO HO HO and a bottle of rum!
Sailing trip around the world not included.
This design flew off the hooks of our jewelry displays at Our World Underwater, (Scuba Diving’s biggest expo in the midwest), which just took place last week end.
And here’s a fun, yet, true, tidbit of info about the Sailor: we sold absolute equal amounts of them to women and men at the 3-day show, which makes this piece a winner in our quest for true unisex fashion!
Here is a picture of yours truly wearing the Sailor during the ‘Our World Underwater’ Expo:

INTRODUCING THE LEATHER PIRATE’S FAKE TWIN
The Leather Pirate Wraparound needs no more introduction, other than the fact it now comes with a fine-looking strap buckle to fit every wrist size instead of the original snap closure (which required to be made to order, with an exact wrist size measurement).
You may not know it, but I am always welcoming and listening to your comments and feedback.
Some of you mentioned you loved the pirate coins, but wished there would be a more delicate version of it available.
This is how I came up with the leather pirate’s fake twin, the leather cord pirate, which is made with a thin leather cord (available in three awesome metallic colors,) instead of the original 1/2″ thick Latigo leather strip.
Judging by its success at the Our World Underwater salon, which just took place last week end, this bracelet looks like it has a bright future ahead!
The enticing price point also makes it a definite favorite as a thank-you gift or “just-because-you-mean-a-lot-to-me” gift for a family member, a great co-worker or BFF.
And because it adjusts with sliding knots, one size fits most wrists sizes! (if you are ordering for a very petite or a very large wrist, just let us know as you place your order and we will make adjustments accordingly to ensure a pleasing and attractive fit.)
From now on, ordering most of our bracelets and cuffs is a breeze, because they are sure to fit every wrist, male or female, every time.
So go ahead, pay our website a little visit today and discover the Leather Cord Pirate Bracelet.

OWU UPDATE AND RAFFLE WINNER ANNOUNCED!
Our World Underwater expo is now over. With an overall attendance of 10,000 + visitors over the weekend, it was once again a great success.
Miss Nyet was present at this year’s edition for the first time, and it proved to be a wonderful and rewarding experience. Not only everyone in the Diving community is a pleasure to work with, but, being a scuba instructor myself, it was a great opportunity to see old friends in the business again, as well as meeting new people from all over the world.
Here are a couple photos of the booth I shared with Windy City Divers, led by the best Capt’n you will ever find this side of Lake Michigan, Jim Gentile. If you are yet to discover the beauty of underwater wrecks around Chicago, be sure to check out his website at: http://www.windycitydiving.net. Also present at the booth was Richard E. Hyman, who came from Connecticut to present and sign copies of his book “Frogmen.” Richard is one of the few Americans who dove and worked with legendary Captain Cousteau aboard the Calypso, back in the 70s. Needless to say, it was an honor and a privilege to get to hear him talk to me about his adventures as underwater photographer! You can read more about him and his book here: www.richardehyman.com.
Many visitors stopped by the booth to look and buy our jewelry, as well as copies of my novel ETA-Estimated Time of Arrest.
The definite best sellers at the show turned out to be the sailor choker, which I am wearing around my neck in the photo below, the leather cord pirate bracelets and, of course, the now classic anchor bracelets. Check them out, they are all available to order through our website!
And last but not least, I am proud to announce the winner of our OWU raffle, R.Rumble from Dive News Network, who wins a Latigo leather anchor cuff!
Congratulations, you will receive your prize in the mail very soon!
