God is not bound to a formula
The Word says that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. That doesn’t mean He always does things the same. God will not be bound to a formula. Times and seasons change. Your Father in Heaven does not. You are one with the Father and when He says “turn here,” you won’t be left circling the mountain again.
MOVERS AND SHAKERS
The greatest threat to a new move of God is what you think of the last move of God. Did you embrace it so tightly you can’t move on to the new thing He is doing?
It’s not about the method of how God moves. It is about God moving and we must be willing to follow Him forward however or wherever He chooses.
Look at all the different ways Jesus reached the people He came into contact with. From turning water into wine, to attaching the ear of Malchus back to his head. From preaching to the crowds to visiting Zacheus at this house. From ordering out demons, to touching lepers and spitting on dirt to make clay that would open blind eyes – Jesus didn’t do things the same way every time!
He never used a single method to bring people into the Kingdom. Each method He used was right, though none of them was the only way to solve the problem. As Jesus’ resurrection would prove, you can’t keep Jesus nailed down or in a box!
In an exclusive interview with Nicodemus, a Pharisee who had experienced the Spirit of Religion most of his life, Jesus warned this high ranking religious authority that He uses creative methods to teach, heal and bring people into the Kingdom.
“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
– John 3:8
Are you someone who has been told the Spirit of Religion is the only way to worship? That God no longer heals or works miracles? Are you realizing you have been keeping Jesus in a box and limiting His power or His love for those you don’t like?
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO ASK JESUS TO SHINE A LIGHT ON THE SPIRIT OF RELIGION IN YOUR THINKING. REPENT AND GET A NEW WAY OF THINKING – THAT GOD IS CREATIVE AND PERSONAL IN THE WAY HE DEALS WITH EACH OF US, INCLUDING YOU!From my book: LIVING LIFE /FORWARD

Miracles of Provision
You have put in the work—planted and sown seeds, and now the harvest is ready. See the multiplication of your efforts as God begins to move and showers grace on your efforts.
MIRACLES OF PROVISION
Though miracles are great and you should go after them when you need them, they are not the best way for God to prosper you. Needing a miracle means you have a problem you can’t solve, so God must step in.
There are two main ways God prospers us: “Seed, Time and Harvest” (hard work and reward) and “Miracles of Provision.”
The principle of Seed, Time and Harvest is to plant a seed (planning and hard work), give it time to grow (more hard work) and reaping the benefits (using the increase to better your position and be a crazy giver).
Miracles of provision are quite different. Let’s look at three famous biblical miracles of provision.
Taking the five loaves and two fish and looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
– Luke 12:16-17
I would have loved to see the miracle of feeding the 5,000. The food just kept coming, out of thin air! The message in that miracle is that it only happened in a life or death situation. Been there?
For this is what the Lord of Israel says, “the barrel of meal shall not empty, neither shall the jug of oil run dry until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.
–1 Kings 17:14
Because of an incredible miracle of provision, this poor widow made a mint while the rest of the nation was in a great depression. In a do or die situation, she fed Elijah, herself and her son, and made a profit, through several years of famine. The message in this miracle is this: during the famine, God prospered her miraculously and set her up to prosper after the famine.
And the children of Israel ate manna for 40 years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came to the borders of the land of Canaan.
– Exodus 16:35
The Hebrew people were miraculously fed by God every morning for 40 years. That miracle stopped the day after they entered the Promised Land. The message in the miracle? Living from miracle to miracle is not God’s best for you. Move on to your promised land and plan, plant, nurture and harvest through hard work and generosity!
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO RECOGNIZE THAT MIRACLES ARE GOD’S WAY OF HELPING US IN VERY DESPERATE TIMES. IF YOU NEED A MIRACLE OF PROVISION, ASK FOR IT AND TRUST THAT GOD HAS BETTER FOR YOU THROUGH HARD WORK AND REWARD.From my book: MIRACLES WITH A MESSAGE

What does God taste like in your life?
God wants you to taste and experience Him in a new way. As you taste His goodness, you will crush the head of the enemy as God’s presence envelopes you.
EXPERIENCING GOODNESS AND HIS PRESENCE
There is something miraculous that happens in the mess of this life. Through all the hurt, through all the discomfort and the ongoing, unfinished business of dreams yet unfulfilled, you will personally experience God’s presence.
It’s not something you read about, hope for or hear about in church. You actually experience His goodness. I can tell you this – it’s tangible!
Check out this amazing scripture:
O taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
– Psalms 34:8
You see, when evil comes against us and we have to take refuge, the blessing is that we taste the goodness of God. This is not naturally speaking. It is practically speaking. Our ability to know and experience Jesus just got a major upgrade!
Tasting is all about supernatural, personal experience and unique encounter.
Tasters are people who first note the circumstances in which God turned up in the battle and they appreciate it. Tasters learn to set environments and make a big deal out of setting them. They like the romance and intimacy of a personal experience with the Lord.
In the natural, our tastebuds detect sweet, sour, salty and bitter. Each of these has a spiritual counterpart.
Sweet: It’s the part of the Holy Spirit we really appreciate and hope for. They are pleasing to all.
Sour: Represents strong experiences that are not easy to take or digest. You have to develop a taste for sour.
Salty: This is all about enhancement of flavor. It intensifies personal encounters with God and actually leaves you thirsty for more of His goodness.
Bitter: Is a legitimate part of our experience with God. We don’t like it, but it is necessary to our development.

Who is in control of your thought life?
God is pulling down strongholds in your mind. Strongholds are like a big wall of lies that have to be torn down brick by brick, but before you know it, that stronghold you’ve been dealing with will be gone!
A PENNY FOR YOU THOUGHTS…
Actually, God believes your thought life is priceless! That’s why he instructs you to think about very specific things.
You see, spiritually, your mind is a reproductive organ. It’s true! Twice, (Ephesians 6:13 and 1 Peter 1:13) the Bible refers to your thinking realm as the “loins of your mind.” Now don’t go off the deep end here! This is what God is saying:
Thinking on one thing always produces something else. Now, that “something else” can be good or bad, depending on what you are thinking!
Here is a good example from Psalms 8. When David considered the stars and the heavens, it made him realize how awesome and powerful God is! One thought led to another. You see, thinking on God things, produces other God realizations.
On the other side of the coin, thinking on worldly things will produce more worldly thoughts. Like Eve, you are “talking to snakes” when you practice worldly thoughts and conversations in your head. This is dangerous as your thoughts generally become your actions.
Thinking about telling off your boss? Considering letting your spouse know they are wrong? Decide you’re not going to be pushed around anymore – that you are going to strike first? Those thoughts will bubble up into words and actions. It’s what they do! So don’t practice for a fight because you will get one. Cast ungodly imaginations back to the pit of hell they came from!
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
– 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
If you don’t get a handle on bringing your thoughts into captivity to Christ Jesus, you will be “birthing” illegitimate thoughts and actions. Get your spiritual zipper up all the way and cover the loins of your mind with the Belt of Truth!
The truth is, you CAN control your thought life.

Are you ready to introduce God's goodness to others?
God is declaring His goodness in the midst of your chaos. Stand in the gateway of hell knowing that the enemy will not prevail, and that light will always overcome darkness!
GOD’S DECLARATION OF WAR
The first time we see goodness in the Bible is in the creation account. At the end of each day, in the midst of darkness and chaos, God said, “It is good!”
While everything was messy, unfinished and in a state of deformed transition – while nothing was as it should be and everything was half-formed, God declared His goodness right there on the spot!
…and God saw that it was good.
– Genesis 1:25
The Lord waged war on disorder, darkness and chaos by proclaiming and demonstrating His goodness. This is how He changes the atmosphere. He introduces goodness. We should do the same.
And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.
–Romans 8:28
Since we love God, we are not afraid of the mess. The mess actually becomes employed by the goodness of God. In this verse, the Bible says that our love for God qualifies us to see all things work together for good! It is His ongoing work in and for us to experience goodness.
Know this – there is a lot of warfare involved in confronting darkness and you will not be in clean, pristine, safe environments. You will be in prisons sharing the Gospel, brothels freeing little girls from slavery, ghettos feeding the poor and trash dumps bringing clothing, water and hope to the hopeless.
That sounds pretty good to me! What about you?

God celebrates your progress no matter the circumstances
It is time to step out of the pit. The Lord’s righteous right hand is there to pull you out. Just grab ahold while He pulls you up, sets you on the Rock, and clothes you in His righteousness.
STEPS IN A MESS
For most of us, not only does the act of moving forward look like a train wreck, the circumstances which we are stumbling through are even worse. It’s hard to believe God is happy with you when you are stumbling along in a place that does not honor or glorify Him.
Years ago, I was in the trash dumps of Matamoros, Mexico. It is the ugliest, most despicable environment I have ever witnessed. Not only is it filled with toxic trash, but the good folks of Matamoros do not flush their toilet paper.
Inside this disgusting arena of waste and hopelessness were hundreds of beautiful families with thousands of kids living in slavery to the drug cartels. They owed money and to pay off their debt, the family dug in the trash for anything of worth to pay their note.
During one truly brutal summer day, I was handing out food and water to a long line of desperate people when I saw something that changed my life forever. I saw Heaven invade earth. I saw the face of the Father.
A group of people started to cheer and clap. What is there to cheer about in this Hell on earth is what I was thinking. I turned and saw a baby boy, filthy, with no shoes or shirt on, taking his first steps. His mama was a girl of maybe 16 and the ground he was stumbling across was littered and toxic, but he was standing and taking a step.
What captured my attention was not the baby, but his daddy. This young father was so excited, he began to celebrate and applaud, and when he did, everyone else joined in. That’s what your Daddy God does for you when you decide to move forward. He is pleased even if you stumble and fall. He’s proud of your effort even in the mess of your circumstances.
God expects you to struggle and make mistakes, so if you are moving forward — even in a mess — He will celebrate your progress. He doesn’t make you clean up or get your act together before you can move.
"The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."

Finding Jesus in the miracle
No matter what your level of faith, God has a miracle for you! Get outside of your box and meet Him for a miracle today! With a grateful heart, thank Him before and after you see your miracle manifest.
FINDING JESUS IN THE MIRACLE
We learn so much about Jesus when we look at the miracles He did. When the Holy Spirit moves upon the images in our minds as we read about His miracles, we walk away with conclusions like:
What is the storm compared to the one who walks on it?
What looks like absolute finality is merely a short nap when Jesus shows up. He raises the dead.
There is no limit to how God can bless me or what He can use to do it — even a coin in the mouth of a fish!
God loves people most of us are scared of, including lepers and the demon possessed.
God understands the importance of special times in our lives. He turned water into wine as a wedding gift.
God hates false advertisement. He cursed a fig tree and it never bore fruit again.
The Bible records 36 miracles, though his disciples said Jesus did many more. So many, in fact, that if they had written them all down, there would not be enough books in the world to contain them!
And remember, Jesus didn’t just do miracles when He was on earth 2,000 years ago, He still does them today for you and me because the Bible tells us He is the same yesterday, today and forever!
There is a message in every miracle, to every hearer, at every level of faith. God loves to get His point across. If He can do it through a miracle, we will know beyond the shadow of a doubt, that He loves us and wants to prosper us.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

The Myth of greater levels of evil
No matter how much evil is in the world, or how evil tries to overtake you, there is more of God’s grace than evil. He will not let the evil go unpunished. But it is His desire that all come into the light of His goodness before that time. Revelation 17:14 tells us the end of the story. It says they will make war against the Lamb (Jesus), but the Lamb will overtake them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and with Him will be His called, chosen and faithful followers. Today is the day of salvation. Come on and join the winning team!
THE MYTH OF GREATER LEVELS OF EVIL
We believers need to be intentional to not make a big deal out of the devil.
I say that having seen darkness and evil that, for lack of a better term, is impressive. Really scary stuff that, if I wasn’t careful, could become toxic to my kingdom advancement.
I have been in the torture chamber under Idi Amin’s palace in Kampala, Uganda. It was a murder factory where over 100,000 people had their lives stolen in unspeakable horror.
Remember, Amin was a muslim and declared Uganda a muslim nation despite only six percent of citizens sharing his beliefs. Christians, the vast majority, were the top of his list for torture and execution — really demonically creative ways to terrorize people.
I know from firsthand accounts what happened to my friends in Mexico who survived being kidnapped by the cartels. I know what happened to their kids and I will not write about it. I have been to the torture chambers of Pablo Escobar, the drug kingpin who brazenly had federal judges murdered.
I have stood on a mass grave of over 250,000 people who were hacked to death by machetes in Rwanda. I walked past padlocked doors in a brothel in India where I knew girls were being held against their will. I bought a 12-year old for $60 and took her to our orphanage so no one would ever hurt her again.
I know what I’m talking about when I say it’s easy to give in to the compulsion to have a reverence, or horrible wonder, at knowing such evil. It is a huge mistake. It’s a lie from the father of lies himself.
While people’s suffering is a big deal, the evil that causes it is not. In believers like you and me, it should cause us to appreciate goodness. It should cause you to get down and dirty about spreading the Gospel of love and the savior who defeated death and stormed the gates of hell. Jesus is worth our wonder.
"These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

Do you want what God has for you?
Because you have waited for God’s best for you, God is increasing your territory. Your tent pegs will stretch out to the right and to the left as you keep your eyes on Jesus.
“I’LL GET MINE!”
Let’s get this out in the open – I don’t want your house. I don’t want your woman, your anointing, your ministry, your connections or your relationships. I don’t want your success, your job or your money. What do I want?
I want what no man can give me. I want what God has for me.
“I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “Plans to give you hope and a future. To prosper you and not to harm you.”
– Jeremiah 29:11
You see, I am convinced that what God has for me is better than what you have. Because of that, you will never have to worry about me ripping anything away from you.
Do you want what God has for you, or are you still hung up on what others have? If you are not convinced that what God has for you is the best, let me invade your soul with God’s promise for your life. Stay with me here!
Did you know that Jews and horses don’t mix? In its 3,000-year history, Israel has never had a cavalry. It never had horses in its army except for a brief time when one of the kings aligned himself with an ungodly nation. It didn’t go well. So, why doesn’t God allow Israel to have horses? Because Israel was not to be a conquering nation in conquest of other nations.
In other words, God didn’t want them looking at Syria, Jordan, Lebanon or Egypt and saying, “I want what they have. Their stuff is nicer than mine!”
Their job was to conquer and occupy the land God had given them. Believe me, it was a full-time job!
This is God’s best, His plan for your life: Your job is to occupy the territory He has given you. This includes your family, your job, your circle of friends, your ministries, church and even your thought life. You are supposed to conquer this territory for HIM and His glory. Just as it is for Israel, it is a full-time job and one only you can accomplish!

In you god trusts
Finding God’s purpose for your life is found in your life’s journey. As you keep seeking God, He will reveal your purpose like pieces in a jigsaw puzzle, until one day, you find the picture is complete! Look for Him to connect dots and make sense out of things you have needed to know on this very day.
IN YOU GOD TRUSTS
Before you were knit together in your mother’s womb, God was hard at work creating an identity and purpose for you. Know this: it is magnificent and He trusts you to go after it. He made it for you to discover and, like a supernatural papa hiding supernatural Easter eggs, He made His plan for us to be found only if you are willing to search for it.
You need to be interested in your upgrade! Give in to that feeling that there is more — that you don’t have enough Jesus.
Believe me, you are not too old, nor do you have too much history, to discover the jaw-dropping wonder of what God still has planned for you. You just have to reignite the supernatural, God-given fire for what is out there (and in there) for you. There is a you no one has seen and a life you haven’t yet lived and might miss if you don’t start “next level” thinking.
“‘I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. IF you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, “and I will bring you back from captivity.’”
-Jeremiah 29:11-14
Want hope, a future and prosperity? Do you want out of the prison of a meaningless life?
