Lockwood launches at Edinburgh
Two great events at the Edinburgh Festival today - a fine schools one in the morning, and a lovely evening session with old fans and new. Thrilling to see the Screaming Staircase piled on the shelves for the first time.

First Lockwood Events!
Today saw me do my first ever Screaming Staircase events - at two schools near Glasgow, Scotland. I took the train over from Edinburgh early, and visited St Luke’s High School and Calibar Primary School, both in Barrhead. It was great to introduce people to Lucy, Lockwood and George for the first time. We had volunteers dressing in ghost-hunting kit, discussions of various deadly types of ghost, saw the fantastic Lockwood trailer and generally had a fine time. Also we had our first account of a possible real-life haunting: a girl who’d watched a pile of papers rotate mysteriously on her table at home… Poltergeist activity, perhaps? I wonder how many more eerie true-life tales we’ll get during the international tour…?
