Guys, mass media is not tumblr, it wholesale pretends that self-harm — ESPECIALLY among young people/teens — doesn’t exist
Even if they could get away with it, making this would mean admitting that teenage depression exists, and the Claire’s brand depends entirely on insisting that the fluffy stereotypical all-fashion-and-fun version of teenage girldom is the norm.

This website rather blindly follow and hate, then actually put in research. For a site that likes to rag on just blindly following something or a trend it surely does a lot of it.
Erm…I’d say everyone’s about 50% right. Yes, Claire’s does sell these scars (and many different kinds). No, they are not marketed as SH scars.
