Finally went through my wife’s notes on my WIP. I’m exhausted, but it’s that good ‘writing’ exhausted. This thing may very well be the death of me. But…yay, progress? I’m going to have to reread it myself one of these days…I am not looking forward to it. The character whose POV it’s from is just very intense and very…not ok…throughout most of the story. I was just skimming this time, going from note to note, and it still took 2+ hours. And it’s only 56 pages!
I love it, though. It’s definitely a story that I loved telling.

Today I got into an argument with my Aunt because she was upset that her daughter was dating a girl so I said
"Do you really think you should fall in love with someone’s genitals over their soul? Because that’s shallow and sad"
And my 75 year old grandmother who was sitting in her rocking chair, and who hasn’t said a word for the past hour screamed “OH BURN" and hit my aunt with a fly swatter
My gramma is a special lady okay.

I’m reading the new Anita Blake book, Affliction. (I keep trying to quit this
damn series because I hate the main character so much, and I really just want
Richard to die or move to Antarctica, whichever is more convenient. But I love
Jean Claude and Asher and Nathaniel so much. Especially Jean
Claude/Asher/Nathaniel :D)
Anyway, I’m reading along and… “zombie-eating people". Now, obviously what she
-meant- to say was “zombies that eat people", but it totally sounds like “people
who eat zombies"…I may have snorted.
Does anyone else have any of these beauties, where punctuation or word order
gives a whole new meaning to the sentence? They make me so happy.
