I’m reading the new Anita Blake book, Affliction. (I keep trying to quit this
damn series because I hate the main character so much, and I really just want
Richard to die or move to Antarctica, whichever is more convenient. But I love
Jean Claude and Asher and Nathaniel so much. Especially Jean
Claude/Asher/Nathaniel :D)
Anyway, I’m reading along and… “zombie-eating people". Now, obviously what she
-meant- to say was “zombies that eat people", but it totally sounds like “people
who eat zombies"…I may have snorted.
Does anyone else have any of these beauties, where punctuation or word order
gives a whole new meaning to the sentence? They make me so happy.
