It always happens when you
least suspect it.
Love.
The chemistry.
The pull.
Even when you don’t want it to.
Timing—it’s a bitch.
And then you have to make a choice.
Do you regret what is, or what isn’t?
Because when love is involved, there’s always
regret.
And my story is no exception.

Reviews: Bad Apple by Wren Michaels #MustRead
I picked this book up the same day I got Unbearable. I wasn’t ready to leave the world that Wren created and I had to see how Snow got her happily ever after. Snow wasn’t anything like her sister. She was soft when Red was hard, sweet when Red could be deadly. She didn’t think that she could find a love that blazed hotter than the sun.
Oh, how wrong she was.
Darien is perfect for her, in so many ways. I was happy to see him show Snow White just how pure of heart she was and full of fire her passion could be. Being sweet, kind, and loving was perfect for her. But he was the man meant to be hers, and with him she could let a bit of her naughty side out.
If she can stay alive long enough to kill him.
Here is where the villain was absolutely perfect, and a total add. I loved to hate her, and that, sometimes, means as much as loving the heroes. Bravo Wren. Bravo!

Theana ran from Seurri City, home of the wolf shifters now public to humans, to escape a mating with her childhood friend. She wasn’t in the mood for a mate, or the trappings of politics. Then she meets Rafael, alpha of the strongest pack in Seurri, and his beta, Gregori. Suddenly she can’t catch her breath, or keep control of her emotions.
Rafael and Gregori refuse to let Theana get her own way, or deny the love they could share. Perhaps two men for their feisty mate are definitely better than one. Now to stall the would-be childhood suitor, and stop an all out war between the packs—but love is worth fighting for.

Happily Never Happened, 1
Fairy Godmothers were the spawn of the devil, and Sin was perfectly happy leaving her broken marriage behind. Marriage to Prince Charming wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. She wanted love on her terms, with a man who didn’t think cheating was foreplay.
Now she’s having trouble keeping away from Tobias, her hunk of a bodyguard that protected her when she saw clients as Mistress Sin on Fantasy Avenue. Or staying away from Zuriah, a shifter bent on making them both his mates.
Now she’s stuck trying on that damn glass slipper again, finding passion like she couldn’t believe existed. If she can just keep the Fairy Godmother from trying to muck things up again, and get over her old break-up, she might just find love ever after.

Book Review: Unbearable by Wren Michaels #MustRead

Click to purchase
I loved this book. Just loved it. I am a fan of the Grimm Fairy Tales, and not many know there was a second Snow White and Red. The story of Rose Red (or Briar Rose) isn’t done very ofter with her sister Snow White, and I loved that Wren brought this fairy tale to light. Hestor was just as evil in this story as he was in the original tale, and I couldn’t wait to see him DEAD!
And the romance? HAWT! Marcus and Rose fit together in ways that no one would understand, and I loved that Wren made it very obvious to the reader that these two fell in love because of the darkness they’d gone through, that it wasn’t just about mating or a pre-destined conclusion. I couldn’t wait to pick up Bad Apple and see how Darien and Snow found their way!
Pick this book up. You will not be disappointed.

Review of Erzabet Bishop’s The Science of Lust! #MustRead @evernightpub
I am so happy I picked this book up! It had me laughing at the antics, loving Dr. Faustine, and drooling over Charles. All I’m saying is I need to sign up for this weight loss program IMMEDIATELY!
Come one, weight loss by Vampire? I’m sold in so many ways. Erzabet is going to be on my 1-Click Must Buy List from now on! She created a short romance that was believable and realistic, even with paranormal creatures. It was believable, and I am eager to see what else is in store with Club Dumonde. I am royally intrigued, and see this world has been built in a way that each book in the series will stand alone, but give you more insight. I’m in love.
Blurb:
One more carrot and someone is going to die.
When Grace Benedict takes a new job at an all-night lab, she knows it’s going to be a different kind of gig. What kind of lab is in the same building as a bondage club anyway? Sporting her new pencil skirt and heels, she’s raring to go otherwise its move back into her parents’ basement and that is so not going to happen. What she didn’t count on were the vampires.
Publisher: Evernight Publishing
Pages: 29
Heat: Erotic romance m/f with some f/f elements

Excerpt:
“Where is this magic water?” Grace crossed her arms and raised her eyebrow, giving him a provocative look. “Better yet, let’s see it actually in practice. Work your fang boy mojo on me.” Grace wiggled her fingers and made a mocking Dracula cape motion.
“Come on. I’ll be your devil’s advocate.”
“Are you sure about this? We had primarily wanted you as a liaison between the patients and the vampires. Someone to monitor their progress. We never intended you to be a participant, Grace.” He backed toward the counter and produced a small bottle of water that he handed over to her.
She snatched it out of his hands and stared at it. Just a nondescript 6oz. bottle of water. Inconspicuous label. No real markings. Interesting.
“You may want to sit while it takes effect.”
Grace rolled her eyes, unscrewed the cap and gulped it down. She had been thirstier than she thought and was eager to prove this was no more than a bunch of scientists playing on people’s insecurities. Fangs or not.
“Please sit, Grace. The chemicals tend to hit rather quickly.” He pushed her toward the stool and caught her as she began to weave on her feet.
“Hey. You drugged me!” Her head was muzzy. Her body began to heat up in some very interesting places. Her breasts felt heavy, the nipples hardening as the fabric of her bra rubbed against them. The endorphins flooded into her and her body began to pulse.
Oh wow.
Waves of desire cascaded over her senses. As she watched the good doctor talking, all she could do was imagine what it would be like to unzip that tight pair of jeans and have at it. She closed her eyes at the mental image and shivered. The doctor was fucking hot.
Playlist:
When I write hot scenes, I love to create a playlist in my mind of what’s going on with my characters. Here are a few songs that make me think of Grace and her hottie vampire doctor:
Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding
Cold by Annie Lennox
Under the Influence by Elle King
Chandelier by Sia
Meet Me in the Middle by Jessie Ware

Exclusive Access ~ The Weathermen 4 by Ravenna Tate #NewRelease @evernightpub

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS –
The Weathermen 4
***Click HERE to purchase directly from
Evernight Publishing***
BLURB
Reporter Julianne Wallis hasn’t stopped thinking about Kane Bannerman since she seduced him to get a story five years ago. Now she’s back for a second story, but this time she wants more than sex from Kane. She wants the secret he is hiding.
Kane is part of a group of friends financing the efforts to put a stop to The Madeline Project. The program now has a mind of its own, thanks to a virus called Tommy Twister. These men have power, resources, and money, but they’re as ruthless and possessive as the storms ravaging Earth.
They call themselves the Weathermen…
ADULT EXCERPT
Kane teased her pussy lips with feathery touches from both his fingers and his tongue until she was out of her mind with need. She writhed on the bed and whimpered, but he didn’t do so much as spread her pussy lips or touch her clit. She couldn’t take it any longer. “Please, Kane. Please!”
He lifted his head and grinned, and she let out a cry of frustration. “Please, what? Tell me what you want, Julianne.”
“Oh my God, seriously? Fuck me. Lick me. Suck me. Shove your fingers inside me. Anything!”
“What will you give me in return?”
“What?” She was hallucinating. That was the only logical explanation. Was the man even human?
“I asked what you’ll give me in return. I’ve given you two stories, and you’re naked with your wrists tied together. What do I get out of this?”
“A naked woman tied up in your bed.”
He shook his head. “Not good enough. If I do what you want, what will you do for me?”
She narrowed her eyes as shivers ran up and down her spine. Decadent images raced through her mind. Exactly how kinky was Kane Bannerman? “What do you want?”
He brushed a hand up one thigh and down the other, and Julianne couldn’t stop the moan in time. The smug grin he gave her should have angered her, but all it did was fuel her excitement. “Are you sure you want to know?”
“Yes!” He was torturing her with the mere promise of sex.
Kane flipped her onto her stomach before she could do more than let out a breath. He caressed her ass cheeks, and then he smacked each one, hard. “This is what I want. You, over my knee, taking a good, old-fashioned spanking because you are such a damn brat, Julianne. When my hand gets tired, I have a paddle to use on your lovely round ass.”
He covered her body with his and turned her face sideways toward his. She had to struggle to take a full breath because she was so aroused she could barely think. His beautiful eyes blazed with desire. “After I spank you and paddle you hard enough to thoroughly punish you for what you’ve done to me, I will fuck you. I will fuck you hard and rough. I will fuck your pussy, your delectable mouth, and your very pretty ass.”
Kane kissed her, shoving his tongue into her mouth, but just as quickly released it, leaving her wanting so much more. “That’s what I want. Your move, gorgeous.”

If you had a free day with no responsibilities and your only mission was to enjoy yourself, what would you do?
That’s part of what I enjoy so much about working for Jennifer at Men For Hire. I don’t always have to work. If I need a day off, then I can usually take it with no problem. Hmm.. My ultimate day off? I’d probably take in a football game and then put in some hours working on my furniture building. I don’t get to do that nearly enough.
What impression do you make on people when they first meet you? How about after they’ve known you for a while?
I’m a little quiet, so I think most people assume I’m either shy or not bright enough to handle much beyond manual labor. When they get to know me, I’d like to think they’ll realize there’s more to me. I like books, science, art, and film. I can hold up my end of a conversation. I’m a decent person, I’d say. And there’s not nearly enough of that in the world.
What’s your idea of a good marriage? Do you think that’ll happen in your life?
Been there, done that. Failed miserably. I’m going to take a pass on this question.
What are you most proud of about your life?
Life hasn’t always been kind. I think making it to the other side of those trials is what I’m most proud of.
– What sort of trials?
Earlier, you mentioned marriage. That’s probably the worst of it. I got married young. My ex decided after nearly ten years of marriage that she much preferred the me that didn’t give a damn about money or bills or responsibility. It broke my heart.
– Are you still in love with her, then?
Talk about getting right to it. Christ. But to answer your question, no. I think I just held on out of sheer stubbornness. We hadn’t been right in a long time. I just wish she hadn’t been so bloody brutal about ending things.
What are you most ashamed of in your life?
You’re really into me talking about my feelings, aren’t you?
This goes back to the divorce, not to beat a dead horse too much. My parents were together for decades. Still are. I hate that I failed at that.
If you could spend the day with someone you admire (living or dead or imaginary), who would you pick?
My grandfather. He died a few years back. I miss him terribly.
Do you think you’ve turned out the way your parents expected?
Not
sure
.
They never really pushed me to be any one thing. They were of the ‘follow your heart’ school. I’d like to think that they’re pleased. I get the ‘We’re proud of you’ bit a lot, but I think parents are required to say that stuff.
What do you believe about God? What do you suppose God thinks of you?
I’m not entirely convinced there’s anything up there. I’m one of those that wants empirical evidence and I’m not likely to get it at this stage.
Is there anything you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t done? What would happen if you did it?
That’s a tough question. I’m my own man, so I basically do whatever I want to.
I’ve got nothing.
What’s the worst thing that’s happened in your life? What did you learn from it?
When I was sixteen, I was in a car wreck and broke both of my legs. My mate had been drinking at the time but like a dumb ass, I got in the car. Had a couple surgeries, and months of recovery. Drunk driving is stupid. We could have died. Never drive drunk. Never ride with anyone who’s been drinking. That’s what I learned.
Tell me about your best friend.
Probably my brother, Thomas. He’s a year older than I am. Most weekends you can find me hanging out with him. We’re either building something or watching some sort of sports. He’s a good guy.
What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done to someone? Why?
I really don’t recall doing anything that terrible to anyone. I’m kind of a pacifist, not to sound like a total pussy.
What would you like it to say on your tombstone?
He
lived
before he died.
Describe your ideal mate.
She’d be beautiful, of course. Not just on the outside. The inside too. Smart, funny, motivated. Maybe someone who’s the creative sort. Someone who could offset my seriousness.
What are you most afraid of?
Not finding anyone to settle down with. I want what my brother and his wife have. What my parents have. I’d love to find it. I’m being much more particular about it this go-round, though.
What’s the most important thing in your life? What do you value most?
My family. They’re important to me.
What do you like best about yourself? Least?
My ability to adapt. The other side of that, though, is that I never have to truly make a decision. I can just sort of let things happen as they may and then deal with the fall out.
How do you feel about your life right now? What, if anything, would you like to change?
It’s a good life, for the most part. A little bit lonely.
I’d like to meet someone, but lately I’ve been working so much that it’s been hard to even date. Maybe I should devote myself to that more.
Are you lying to yourself about something? What is it?
A number of things, probably. The bad thing about denial is that you never realize you’re in it until you’re out of it.
What trait do you most deplore in others?
Liars. I can’t stand them. I prefer the honest truth, even if it’s ugly.
Michelle Roth is a novelist from the Great White North (Toronto, ON). When she’s not disappearing into foreign lands, or making two perfect strangers that she invented fall in love, she’s probably curled up somewhere with a glass of wine and a good book.
In her spare time she is typically hanging out with her awesome boyfriend and their two equally awesome cats. She likes taking road trips to nowhere in particular, cooking elaborate meals then making other people do the dishes, and being nerdy on the internet. Her books are currently available on Amazon, Nook, Kobo, and any other place that sells absolutely filthy romance novels.

Mine To Love ~ Hot Release by Lea Bronsen @evernightpub
Book two of the Hot Model Mine trilogy is finally here! Did you wonder what happened to erotic romance author Andrea and her irresistible cover model, Yushka, after the conference in Cannes?
In book one, The Perfect Shoot, things were complicated for the couple. He was much younger than her—practically the same age as her twins—and she’d spent half her life without a man. After much reflection, she ended up giving into her desire and taking Mr. Hot Model for lover. But what then after they traveled back to their separate lives?
Wait no more: They’re here to tell the continuation of their sizzling love story :)
BLURB:
The writing conference in sunny Cannes was fantastical, a dream. Back at home, reality catches up with author Andrea Johnson and the sexy cover model of her book, Yushka. With tough working schedules, challenging family relations, and seductive temptation from all sides, the couple’s explosive romance is put to the test.
Will their love be strong enough to have a future?
BOOK TRAILER:
EXCERPT:
While Yushka gets his duffel bag in the back seat, I lean against the side of the Corolla and stretch my arms on top of its roof. “You got everything?”
“Yeah.” He lifts the bag over his shoulder and tilts his head in direction of the front door. “We good to go?”
My pulse beats a little faster at the thought of him dropping that bag on my bedroom floor and lifting me in his arms instead. I’m so excited to be with him, I simmer inside, aching to touch and hold him. I want to have all of him at once, right now.
A spark of amusement plays in his gorgeous Asian eyes as he waits for me to make a move. “What’s on your mind, Princess?”
Holding his gaze, I smile, my fingers tapping a beat on the car hood to buy some time because I don’t know what to reply. I have a feeling whatever might come out of my mouth now, like I can’t wait to rip those clothes off you or I’m going to make you scream, will sound too cheesy. Why do we need to put our attraction into words, anyway? Once we’re home, there’ll be no reason to talk that much. We’ll do the talking with our more-than-capable hands and … um … mouths.
I tap a quick rap before stepping back from the car. “Come on.”
“Okay.” Widening his smile, he follows me to the front entrance.
I unlock and push the wood door open. “I hope your bag’s not too heavy. The elevator doesn’t work.”
“When are they gonna fix it?”
“Huh, good question.” I step forward, but when in the doorway, I spin to hold the door open for him. “I have no idea.”
“No?” With a raised brow, he passes me.
Just then, I move toward him, chest-to-chest, blocking him and his thick bag between myself and the doorframe.
“Oh!” He laughs.
As the door pushes into my back, squeezing me tighter against him, I put my hands on his waist. First above his clothes––the thick leather jacket and his shirt––then sneaking underneath both of them, my fingers splaying on his warm skin and stroking him.
Completely stuck, he tilts his head and stares into my eyes, his own sparkling with playfulness. “What are you up to?”
“You have a problem?” I move my hands out from beneath his shirt and go downward to palm his tight ass cheeks, pulling his crotch to me. My lower stomach and increasingly heating inner thighs seek to meet his. I want to be so near him he’ll feel my lust, and I want his lust to grow, too. I need us to join and be a match, a melting pot of desire, irresistible and untamable.
“I have to bribe you?” he asks, voice lower, and leans down to kiss me.
How did he guess? At the warm touch of his parted lips, delight rushes through me as if I’d had a shot of alcohol.
He retreats his face a few inches, enough to have a view of what he just kissed. “This good enough for you?” His voice comes out husky, a bit short of breath. With his free hand, he strokes and kneads my butt.
“One more,” I mouth with the next exhale of air. Though the door bores painfully into my back, I don’t want to move, loving the feel of being so close to Yushka, so intimate. It’s amazing how instantaneous and intense our connection is. Just wait till we get our clothes off.
Again, his warm lips land on mine, and we kiss greedily, nose-to-nose, wet tongues playing with each other. My inner pussy muscles clench, remembering too well what it’s like to have his cock inside. I breathe faster. A growing hardness in his crotch presses against me, provoking more tightening. Oh, God. Hot wetness glides down my pussy, wetting my panties. So ready, so soon… I mew into his mouth, and he rewards me with a guttural response, our mouths practically eating each other.
But this isn’t the right place. We need to move and play this torturous game and its grand finale somewhere else.
Releasing his lips, I gasp from our separation, but still manage to pull away.
“Fuck, you’re hot.” He inhales deeply and looks up, feverish eyes widening and trying to refocus.
As I step backward, forcing the door to open again, cold evening air sneaks between our heated bodies. “Let’s go,” I say with a croak, my chest heaving.
He gives a small nod and steps inside the low-lit lobby.

A Romance on the Go
Releasing: September 25, 2016 from Evernight Publishing
Blurb:
Hannah Evans is personal assistant to the very professional Benjamin Willis, and he keeps her firmly in that role. Her boss is a great man, and if he rewards himself with a large number of blondes, well, even great men can be misguided. Hannah couldn’t ask for anything more in her job—except she’s fallen for her boss. And now Mr. Willis seems to be seeking more than mere pleasure. What if he finds a woman with a beauty and brains? Unable to bear the idea, Hannah submits her resignation. Faced with losing her, Benjamin’s entire being reacts in shock, dismay and outrage, causing him to examine how he actually views Hannah. She has had months to come to terms with her strong emotions while he has had mere hours. But Benjamin is a quick study and discovers his true feelings for the woman who has been right under his nose.
Excerpt:
“Hannah.” Her name fell harshly from his lips and she blinked several times, appearing to get herself under control. “Tell me why you’re leaving.” Leaving me.
“I appreciate the opportunity,” she nearly whispered. “Seeing as I had no experience.”
“You said that in your letter of resignation,” he agreed. “And I was happy to give it to you. You proved yourself quickly.” He shifted a tad closer and studied the rising color in her cheeks.
“I … I can’t stay on. Big world of opportunity out there and all.”
“You’re not telling me the truth. How bad can it be?”
Giving into an instinctive urge, he grasped her other hand and hauled her close. He locked his gaze with hers when she looked up, startled. “Tell me,” he insisted.
“I can’t.” She nearly whimpered and a good man would have backed off and let her go. He couldn’t find it within himself to do it.
Recognizing he couldn’t force her to confide, he resorted to sneakier tactics. He turned on the charm and cajoled. “Hannah, you’re invaluable to me and I can’t get my head around finding someone to replace you. Is it something I’ve done? Is the salary an issue?”
A shake of her head sent more strands of hair drifting down to her shoulders, these longer than the others, and they rested against the upper swells of her breasts. His stare traced their path before he glanced up to see her eyes wide with surprise. God, she was lovely. Smart, skilled and talented, all woman. Different from—
“Benjamin?” His name wasn’t on Hannah’s lips but spoken at his office door. He recognized that voice. “Benjamin?”
He could only imagine how it looked, his disheveled PA sprawled in a chair, him kneeling at her feet, holding her hands captive and their faces mere inches apart. With an effort, he turned his head and acknowledged his latest fling. Past fling. “Give me a minute, Tiffany.”
Hannah quivered and tried to pull away, but he hung on tightly, willing the tall blonde out of his office.
“I see you’ve already replaced me,” she replied, scorn and anger coloring her voice. At any other time, he might have found her alluring, all flushed with outrage and passion. As usual, Tiffany was dressed to the nines in a body-revealing outfit that displayed her long, slender figure and enhanced breasts to full advantage. But she left him cold, something new, because he rarely tired of his blondes physically, choosing to keep his hookups brief to avoid emotional attachment.
Tiffany sneered at Hannah. “She’s hardly your taste. Pudgy and plain, wouldn’t you say?”
If he hadn’t known to keep hold of Hannah, wrapping his hands around Tiffany’s elegant neck might have been an excellent alternative. “Get out.”
“Gladly. You’re welcome to him, secretary-type. It won’t last, especially as he’s slumming.”
He spared her only enough of a look to ensure she had indeed gone before turning back to Hannah. Who was staring at him with a multitude of emotions washing over her expressive features.
“She’s different than the others.” Well, that was the last thing he expected.
“Excuse me?” He knew he sounded astonished.
“She has a career. So she must use her brain. And she meets all your other criteria.”
Hannah would know, he acknowledged inwardly. Except it appeared she was wrong— his preferences were changing. Had changed. His lower body, and not his now aching knees, was in total agreement. Hannah had been under his nose all this time with her quiet, efficient ways and non-intrusive manner, yet he would bet she knew more about him than he knew about himself. But she was leaving, so obviously didn’t feel the same. No point in opening that door, especially as he lacked the tools. He ground his back teeth against a disappointed growl and clambered to his feet after carefully setting Hannah’s hands on her lap.
“I’m sorry she said those things.”
“Which ones?” She sounded intent, earnest, and peered up at him.
“She insulted you.”
Hannah shrugged and those round breasts lifted higher on her torso. “No comparison. We aren’t even the same species, I don’t think.”
Benjamin laughed. That was the effect Hannah had on him despite all that had just taken place. He felt … happy around her. And there was that shift again. She’d been an enormous part of his life for over a year. He’d spent more time—awake at least—with her than any other person. His laughter faded when he imagined the future without her.
