Are YOU A Cthulhusattva?

Martian Migraine Press is now open to submissions for our fourth annual anthology

CTHULHUSATTVA_header

When it comes to Lovecraftian fiction, readers are already well familiar with the standard protagonists. Men of Science. Hardened, world-weary investigators. Sensitive artists, and the like. All of whom eventually learn too much, as they come into contact with forbidden books, foul thaumaturgies, and the human (and not-so-human!) servants of the Great Old Ones. Through curiosity, stupidity, hubris (and oftenti...

NECRONOMICUM 3 COVER REVEAL! NSFW *and* SFW

NECRONOMICUM #3 is due to drop in a few short days! And to celebrate its imminent arrival, we’re revealing the exclusive Garry Mac cover for the magazine, here, today. You’ll note that there are two versions here, a censored and uncensored one. Couple of reasons for this, obviously: we’ve run into trouble with the Amazon Smut Police before, when they took offense at the Thousand Boobs (OK, OK,nine.Nine boobs) of Shub-Niggurath… but we just can’t stop with the transgressive imagery! It wouldn’...

PRIESTESS in Paperback!

PRIESTESS_frontcover_01It’s been a pet project of ours for some time, here at MMP HQ: getting the Collected BLACKSTONE Erotica series (by our own Justine Geoffrey, natch!) into some kind of physical form. We can all agree that, for some, weird smut holds a special frisson for the connoisseur when it can be secreted away in a trench coat pocket or small purse, or slipped into the drawer of a bedside table for late-night sessions. Certainly our own memories of shoplifting copies of Penthouse FORUM from the Coles Book...

NECRONOMICUM Issue 3 ToC

NECRONOMICUM Issue #3 is coming soon! We have a mid-July release date, and editors Justine Geoffrey and Scott R Jones are currently working with our authors on the utterly pleasant task of editing the fine stories they’ve selected, dripping with aphrodisiac ichor, from the Sploosh Pool. Really, this is the part we enjoy the most, putting the magazine together. When it’s all ours, and no one else can see it yet, and the thrill of secrecy is almost too tangible. But even this glorious pleasure...

Walpurgis Pack Winners

Migraineers, we hope you had a wild and wooly Walpurgisnacht and a bellicose Beltane besides! But, all shenanigans are now done, it’s the second day of the month of May, and we’ve just completed the random drawing for our Walpurgis Pack Contest Winners! (For those who might have missed it, if you purchased our strange and sexy pack of weird-erotic ebooks over the past two weeks, your name was entered into the draw to win a paperback copy of Bobby Derie’s seminal work of Lovecraftian scholarsh...

Get Your Walpurgis On!

SPRING! And a young entities fancy turns to eldritch couplings beneath a black monolith, doncha know!

MayEveMadness

Now, in case you haven’t guessed already, we here at Martian Migraine Press are, largely, a pack of feral perverts, which is to say: WE UNDERSTAND YOU. We know the days and nights leading up to May Eve hold a certain special frisson for the initiate and un-initiate alike. And we also know that this season calls for particular needs to be met, else the Avatar of Nyarlathotep look askance at y...

Shoggoths and the Single Girl: Bobby Derie’s ‘Sex and the Cthulhu Mythos’

I couldn’t tell you what I was expecting from Sex and the Cthulhu Mythos, because I honestly did not know at the time I opened the book. I mean, ever since my first teenage daydreams in which I imagined myself as Lavinia Whately waiting up there on the mountaintop for her extra-dimensional paramour/sire, I’ve known (in that way that a girl always knows what’s a turn-on and what’s not) that the fiction of Lovecraft had some pretty deep currents of sexuality running through it. You’d have to ha...
