Suits so impeccably tailored that one could scarcely imagine a more delightful feast for the eyes—Namtan in all her composed elegance, Emi coyly concealing herself behind the fortuitous shoulder of our beloved Namtan, and yet, even in their shy smiles, they became the centre of every admirer’s gaze. Indeed, Thai GL News is quite certain that hearts skipped collectively across the nation in that singular, glorious evening.
Yet, as the week progressed, the stage shifted to the GMMTV outing, and our beloved NamtanFilm once again proved irresistible in their customary charm. There they were, cuddled upon the coach, with Namtan resting her head upon Film in what can only be described as a display of domestic devotion, leaving one to wonder how she ever endured sleep without this treasured pillow. Welcome once again to Thai GL News, where no whisper goes unrecorded and no longing glance escapes our quill. Today, our hearts flutter for Lingorm, the radiant duo setting Bangkok and the fandom aflame. If you are not yet watching Lingorm's new series, 'Only You', first kisses and first declarations have already graced our screens — and if you’re missing it, you’re missing out. It is a slow burn, yes, but every heartbeat-wrenching moment is worth the wait. The visuals? Breathtaking. The acting? Top Tier. On Twitter—or rather, X—the verdict is unanimous: fans are utterly, hopelessly down bad.
What a week it has been! Something in the Bangkok air is shimmering, and tourists would do well to brace themselves. For in this city under moonlit skies, love itself seems to flicker into being.
Take, for instance, the intimate interview with our darling Orm, giddy at the mention of a dachshund she longs for Ling to buy her. Once, Ling’s refusal sounded resolute—“no” with a soft edge which was almost believable. Now? She’s softened even further to a hesitant, “I won’t promise.” If eyelash-batting has such power, then I wager we’ll soon hear the pitter-patter of dachshund paws.
That’s hardly all. Ling’s chivalry shone through when she declared that Orm may sleep in any of her bedrooms at will. Orm, with a playful grin, replied she’d take the couch—in Ling’s room. And Ling’s only answer? There;s a bed. A phrase that echoed across the hearts of the fandom and turned our timelines ablaze: “Respect.”
Behind-the-scenes of Only You delivered even sweeter morsels: back hugs galore, admissions of jealousy when Orm filmed with a male co-star, and cozy consolations that could induce cavities with their sweetness. Yet the pinnacle came when Orm, surrounded by her mother, staff, and manager, sang a heartfelt ballad: “I don’t have a six-pack, but my lover has a six-pack.” The camera turned—on Ling. And with shimmering sincerity, she repeated: “My lover is Ling Kwong.” Not her character, dear reader, but Ling herself. The fandom has not yet recovered from such audacity.
Yet the declaration alone hardly captures the delightful chaos of Lingorm of late. Our intrepid duo have launched a business together — a feat scarcely attempted in the GL world, and certainly never with such flair. Ling, ever the inventive partner, gifted Orm a bird for her birthday. But this was no ordinary pet: it was named Abu Chicken Kwong, proudly bearing Ling’s own surname.
And now, as if to cement the trifecta of their shared grandeur, Orm chose to confess — if one may call it a confession — in the form of a ballad. A song! One can scarcely make this up: B is for Business, B is for Bird, B is for Ballad. Each of these monumental gestures somehow perfectly reflects their penchant for over-the-top, utterly delightful declarations, and the letter 'B'. The fandom can only swoon, laugh, and clutch pearls in equal measure.
Lingorm, it seems, have invented their own rules — and we are all happily swept along.
Then came the Weibo Gala. There they were, Lingorm, dazzling and intimate, seated directly in front of LMSY—two of the season’s brightest series side by side. Ling defiantly abandoned her assigned seat to sit beside Orm, fingers entwined. She refused to walk the red carpet solo, instead leading Orm, hand clasped, in a gesture louder than words. Selfies, cheek kisses, a moment of public pride when Orm referred to Ling as her “partner” — the audience erupted in cheers.
The evening closed with tight embraces, lingering gazes, and Ling watching as Orm was driven away. A quiet farewell, yet loud with promise.
With both LMSY and Lingorm delivering declarations this week, I can’t help but wonder: is this a friendly race to the grand reveal? Or has the delulu—our most delightful affliction—simply become contagious? Time alone will tell. LMSY – Thai GL News: A Bridgerton-Style Gossip Sheet on Our Favourite Ship LMSY
LMSY - Disclaimer (for the gentle reader): This is a parody gossip sheet on the Thai GL ship known as LMSY —written for joy, fun, and fandom love. Shipping is a game, not a declaration; no harm is meant, only swoons encouraged.
Dearest gentle readers,
It appears that LMSY—our beloved Lookmhee and Sonya—have once again sent their fandom spiralling into chaos. Truly, one requires smelling salts just to survive an ordinary week with this ship.
Just as Besties were catching their breath after Episode 3 of Harmony Secret, LMSY ensured recovery was but a fleeting dream. First, the now-iconic backhug—tight enough that one half expects the Ministry of Emergency Fans to issue a public safety warning. Then, LM’s hand strayed to her preferred armrest (the SY-shaped variety), only for matters to escalate when LM delivered a baby tee performance so devastating that Sonya, not to be outdone, began opening her own jacket in retaliation. And yet, who swooped in like the most possessive of Regency heroes? LM herself, buttoning SY back up as though shielding her from the scandalous eyes of the ton.
But alas, our tale did not end there. LM leapt into SY’s arms in what can only be described as an emergency bridal carry, clinging as though Sonya’s hair alone might serve as smelling salts. SY, in turn, placed her hand upon LM’s favourite place (her neck—do not ask, simply sigh).
And then, dear reader, the coup de grâce: Sonya, with the calm poise of a duchess making a proclamation, declared, “We are lovers now.”
The fandom screamed. The walls of Twitter (or should I say, X) shook with the force of it. A savvy Bestie — ever bold, ever nosy — dared to ask: did she mean AiMay, the fictional rivals-turned-something-more, or LMSY, the actresses themselves? Sonya, with the precision of a guillotine, replied: “It’s the same thing.”
One would think such a moment would be enough to shatter reality itself. And yet — this fandom is unlike any other. Besties, with their inimitable wit, reminded the pair with their customary refrain: “You are best friends.” It has become both joke and gospel, this mantra, a collective delusion we clutch with trembling hands even as our screens ignite with chemistry.
