I’ve resumed writing the first draft of Grin And Bear Him. I love Grin and Mohini. They are so very awesome together!

I always feel deliciously naughty when I do that (and I’ve been doing that since high school days). Find some grass, take off your shoes, and sink your toes into that green stuff. Adventures In Cyborg Unity
As readers of Provoking Odium have likely guessed (smiles), one of the main storylines in the Cyborg Unity will be uncovering why the Humanoid Alliance is targeting the Mohini and the Praecipuans.
We’ll find out more about that in Grin And Bare Him, the second story in the series. Mohini is the heroine of that cyborg romance. She might…MIGHT be able to convince Grin, her genetic match, to fly her to Keid 9. Why she desperately needs to travel there will also be revealed.

Throwback Thursday – Testing Truth
Whenever I think of Truth, I smile. He is such a chaos-loving cyborg. He rushes into situations with both guns blazing and a big ol’ grin on his handsome face.
Princess Nancy, his female, is perfect for him. Being a royal, she is constantly surrounded by drama and over-the-top ceremony. Her entourage adds to this.
There’s never a dull moment around them. (grins)
Testing Truth
A fun-loving cyborg gets serious about love.

Truth lives each moment as though it were his last. Thecyborg warrior rushes into danger, teases beings he shouldn’t provoke, acceptsevery call of adventure he encounters.
When a prissy little human princess floats into the Rebelstructure Truth is occupying, seeking a mercenary to assist her and her unusualentourage, he volunteers to be her warrior. She claims their assignment isdangerous, warns him he might not survive the task.
That is exactly the type of fun he has been seeking.
Princess Nanette of the planet Royaume must rescue herestranged brother from an enemy prison ship. That is her duty, and she has beentrained to always place the needs of her planet and her subjects before herown. Nancy doesn’t have the freedom to indulge her passions for a certaindark-haired, gray-skinned cyborg. Not permanently and not publicly.
But she is unable to resist the warrior. Truth, with hislaughing eyes, smiling lips, and rough hands, tempts her as no one else everhas. He could be her one fleeting act of rebellion before she’s matched withthe powerful ruler her planet requires.
If they survive their current mission.
Their love is doomed. Their lifespans are at risk. Thiscyborg and his princess will need the help of every ally they have if they wishto see another sunrise.

Trigger Warnings For Provoking Odium
Woot! It is almost release day!
If you’ve pre-ordered Provoking Odium, booksellers will likely send it to you tonight. If you prefer to buy books on release day, well…that’s tomorrow for Provoking Odium. (grins)
As with many of my cyborg romances, this story is set during times of war. Beings don’t die on page in Provoking Odium (not that I can remember) but there are some vivid flashbacks. And this story might be triggering for those of us with food insecurities. (big hugs) Deprivation is, unfortunately, part of war.
But Provoking Odium is a romance and, of course, has a romantic happy ending. There are some laughs, a whole lot of sexiness, some friendship and much love.
I think you’ll enjoy this story.

Between the new release celebrations, I’ll continue to work on Grin And Bare Him, the second story in the Cyborg Unity series. Progress on it has been admittedly slow. I’ve been distracted with personal issues. But I love Grin and his heroine. They are magical together.
