Finding a Moment of Peace in a Busy Life by Eleri Grace

Since I'm guest-blogging later this month on the topic of peace as experienced by the Red Cross Girl heroines of my novels, I decided to use this space for a more general and personal look at peace and how I find it through the incessant demands of everyday life. I wear many hats -- Mom (though the time energy required by that role dwindles as my oldest is a settled college student and my

Just Give Peace a Chance!

By: Marcia King-Gamblewww.lovemarcia.comI’ve decided to take this month’s topic in a totally differentdirection, because peace really means different things to different people.  Let’s look at some of the expressions associated with peace.Peace Out or “goodbye,” is said to originate from the BeastieBoys and the world of hip hop. Then there’s “Peace be with you.” This is most likely taken

I've found peace!!!

by Diana McCollum Since my husband and I decided in April 2021 to move to CA to be closer to family my life has been in constant turmoil!  We spent the month of April in CA looking around to see what area we wanted to move to. We managed to narrow it down to two areas. Both with things we liked and didn’t like. We came home to OR on May 1, 2021, and listed our house on the market three days later

Finding Peace by Lynn Lovegreen

This month’s RTG theme is peace. In our current world, it can be hard to find peace of mind. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the news or the negative things in our lives. Find your own peace by Paty Jager

I find peace in the outdoors. It's where my mind can stray and think happy thoughts without being bombarded with everything that works at drawing the happiness out of me.I also find peace in reading Native American myths and legends. The simplistic and real way the Indigenous people see the world and the creatures around them sets things right for me.There is so much in the Indigenous cultures

PEACE BABY! ✌It's that time of year up here in the Land ...

PEACE BABY! ✌It's that time of year up here in the Land of the Midnight Sun when we are fully aware of why this wild, wonderful place has this moniker. The robins chirp all night long because to them, morning is all night! This is great for the mating season, but for humans who desire sleep at 3:00 a.m. it's close-the-windows time. So we can sleep in peace. The above photo is one of my favorites
