I Could Write a Book by Eleri Grace

What's new for you in 2022? Well, as my title says, hopefully I'll write a(nother) book! The tune from Rodgers and Hammerstein's 1940 hit "Pal Joey" is a love song of course, but a few lines from the lyrics speak to my mindset:But my busy mind is burning to use what learning I've gotI won't waste any timeI'll strike while the iron is hotThose are my hopes for 2022: not wasting time and striking

Everything Old is New Again!

By: Marcia King-Gamblewww.lovemarcia.comHappy 2022! Ican’t help but wonder where the years went to? Just 24 years ago, I signed myfirst book contract with Kensington Publishing. Memory fades as to whether itwas a two- or three-year contract, but I do know it was for multiple books andthat trend continued for many years. Even today, I still remember thatfeeling of elation when I got that

Scrying for the Crying

By Robin WeaverWhat can we expect in 2022? Analyst and experts have weighedin, but does anyone really know? For example, during the summer of 2018, couldanyone have imagined 2019 and 2020?And if you could predict the true future, would you?In my case, I wouldn’t venture beyond next week’s lotterydrawing, but let’s assume you actually want to know what happens thisyear.  You might consult

What's new, pussy cat?

Ah, those lofty New Year’s resolutions. For many of us, if written down, they’d make great birdcage liners by February. Unfortunately, I no longer have a birdcage and the hens prefer wood shavings.I’m pleased to say I’ve learned a thing or three in the nearly sixty years (gulp) I’ve been alive. One thing I’m finally accepting is life is a marathon, not a sprint. Another thing I hold to be true is

Looking for Adventure in 2022 by Paty Jager

The question this month is: What is new in 2022?For me, I'm taking my character Gabriel Hawke back to the wilderness where his series started. It's going to require even more research than normal and I'm up for the challenge! I love research and learning new things. If you always keep an open mind to learning, you will never be bored. At least that's how I feel. Image from DepositphotosI will be

What do you hold sacred?

I'm somebody who has lived a transitory existence, moving locations, changing jobs, and always on the look out for a new adventure. I don't place too high a regard on stability or the acquisition of possessions. So this month as I pondered what I held sacred I realised it boiled down to karma. But what does karma mean to me?Cause and EffectWhen most people talk about karma, they’re usually
