Three Things I Do Well by Lynn Lovegreen

It’s tough for me to come up with things I do well, because it sounds like bragging. That’s something women often have trouble with. But since it’s this month’s topic for RTG, I have permission, right? 😉 One thing I do well is yoga. I’ve practiced yoga for over ten years, the last four totally online. It’s kind of nice to “go” to class without having to leave the house, and the

Journey to totality during the Great American Eclipse 2024

Let me begin with an apology. This post should ha been up las night at midnight. I happen to have been incommunicado with the real world since last Thursday. I had no idea how cut off and off the grid I would be until today. Blame it on Monday’s eclipse. I experienced my first total eclipse of the sun on a freezing February in Canada, and it was such an awe inspiring few minutes that

Three Talents by Eleri Grace

Our theme this month asks us to write about three things we do well -- I decided to not confine that to three things I do well in my writing life or as an author.  Although I'm sure there are many other things I also handle pretty well on some level, I opted to highlight three of my favorite talents.  I am a life-long genealogist, and I particularly enjoy the analytical

Three Things I Do Well

By R. WeaverOne:I decorate a mean Christmas tree.  Not bragging here, just saying that days (andweeks, and months) of planning makes a person a little more than an averagetinsel-er. Or obsessed.I have an abundance of ornaments, which makes for a full andglitzy tree, but I’m always making more baubles. Why? Em… now that I’m tryingto string together an answer to this question…

My skillz ...

Three things I do … Not THE three things I do well, or the ONLY three things I do well (I hope not at any rate), but just three things I do well and enjoy doing – which is probably why I do them well. Ha!Top of the list, rain or shine, morning or night, is needle crafts. I not only enjoy counted cross stitch, crewel embroidery, and rug hooking, but some might say I’m addicted. I always have

3 Things I Do Well by Paty Jager

The theme this month is "3 things I do well."  1) I am a good listener. I don't mind listening to people when they feel they need to talk something out or get something off their chest. Sometimes I suggest things, and sometimes I just listen, nod my head, and hope the spewing gets their emotions settled or they talk out the problem themselves. But I don't deal with conflict. If there is

Then Comes the Baby... (Children in Romance!) by Elva Birch

"A DAY CARE FOR SHIFTERS" SERIES by Elva BirchThere is a certain logical order to romanceand children, as outlined in the famous schoolyard rhyme: First comes love, then comes marriage, then (usually in a convenient epilogue) comes the baby inthe baby carriage. Nothing will squash the romance of acandlelight dinner faster than a fit or spaghetti in the hair, and finding asitter

The Accident I FAILED to Watch Out For

Now that our children are grown, our fur-babies are thefamily members who live with my husband and me. Mac is the grumpy old man ofthe bunch, a black, thirteen-year old Cairn terrier/Schipperke cross who takeshis job as Watchdog seriously. Mac raised Petey from a tiny furball into his sweet, smart and funny twelve-pound Shih-Tzu sidekick. Neko is their felinebrother-from-another-species
