It’s April 2020, so she’s – you guessed right! –

The Highs and Lows of #Amwriting
Hi, I'm Pippa Jay, author of sci-fi and supernatural stories to engage your emotions. When it comes to favourite writing achievements, for me it has to be finishing. I've always written but I still have a huge stack of unfinished pieces from my pre-teen years when I would run with a shiny new idea only to tire of it (sometimes with several 'books' of a series part written) and move onto the

It Get's Easy...
I've heard it said many time that after a while things just 'get easy.'
I've have many trips around the sun and I've yet to reach that 'get easy' stage in my writing career (or life for that matter). I've often started down a path and thought this is the 'it gets easy' road but I've found that it was another path of ...

Maybe I Really Can Write ?
If I had to pick just one'favourite' writing achievement moment, it would (obvioiusly) have to be the email from a 'real' publisher saying they wanted to publish my sexy short story.
Ok, they were a verrrrry small publisher, but they ran totally professionally and they paid royalties.
And they wanted my story!
I was now (in my mind) a 'real writer'. Someone who was going to get paid IF

A Teaser Chapter You Say?
I am excited to report that
I’m currently putting the final touches on the second novel in my Clubmobile
Girls series (look for a cover reveal on Diary of an Eccentric: Writings of an Eccentric Bookworm next week and on my social media thereafter).
So while many of us are

So I have to admit I have been going back and forth with
this topic. Which to choose? Favorite or most difficult writing achievement? A
favorite is always the easy part, my most difficult was, however, not an
achievement. It was a bomb. I received the worst reviews ever.
Let’s start with the difficult one first, and hopefully end on a

That Was Then...This Is Now - Terri Molina
Thank you, Judith and Sarah,
for inviting me back to Romancing the Genres. It was an honor and a privilege
to be part of your blog for all the years I posted. And Congratulations for
keeping it going!
It’s been a long time since I
posted anything here and a lot has happened over that time. In 2015, the
universe dropped that other shoe and, suffice it to say, our life went into
turmoil. My

Isolation 2020
by Diana Mccollum
I'm writing a short blog today as I've already written two different blogs and both got lost in cyber land!
I was working in Word and my Apple phone rang and so does my Apple computer and I don't know what happened, either computer or operator error but document disappeared.
I'm wondering what everyone is doing during this time of isolation.

My Most Stressful Writing Achievement by Lynn Lovegreen
My most stressful writing achievement is my current work in progress. Well, I hope it will be an achievement—we’ll see!
Like anyone has who’s written for a while, I’ve had stressful writing projects before. When I was starting out, my first novel was stressful because I had no clue what I was doing and suffered a steep learning curve. With later books, deadlines were hard to meet or the

Romance in the Days of Covid 19
I know this is a romance blog, and my post should be about something loving and uplifting. After all, as I compose these words, the day is beautiful, the sky blue, sun shining. This is the kind of day most people in the northern hemisphere prayed for only a few months earlier.
Now, if you have to stop and check a calendar to remember what day it is, you are not alone. After over three weeks in
