Enneagram: An Author's Roadmap Back to Creativity by Eleri Grace
A familiar theme in many of our blogs is coping with the
weight of anxiety, exhaustion, and fear that permeates our daily lives in these
extraordinary times. Last December, I doubt many of us could imagine we would
find the September prompt of “Hope” to be so challenging. As I’ve alluded in
several of my blogs this year, I’ve found it very difficult to tap into my
creative

You Are The Writer of Your Own Story by Paty Jager
When all else fails, talk about something you are excited about. That's what I decided to do when I could only get one paragraph written on the subject this month of Hope. It's not that I don't have hope, I think of it in a different realm than most. I don't hope for things to happen. I'm a realist, I guess. I can either work to make my goals- desires expectations (hope) happen, or if it's not me

Transpire Together by Mercy Zephyr
"They should get counseling for that. I can't imagine
them having a happy ending until that was fixed."
I had just described my current work-in-progress to someone.
Both main characters shared my orientation, drawn from my own lived experience
and how I experience attraction. My characters living happily as they were had
just been deemed too strange, too queer, for my listener to comprehend
them having a happy ending until that was fixed."

Hope in The Midst of a Pandemic
Hi, I’m Judith Ashley, author
of The Sacred Women’s Circle series, soul nourishing romantic women’s fiction
that honors pagan spiritual practices. My stories show you what life could be
like if you had a place like The Circle where you are unconditionally accepted,
supported and loved. And where, with this support, you do overcome obstacles and
find your happily-ever-after.

The Gift of Hope by Dora Bramden
Years ago, at my romance writers group, I was given a set of blocks that spell out
the word HOPE for a Kris Kringle present. I felt the relevance of
this present finding its way into my hands. I needed reminding that there is
power in hope. The other lovely thing about these blocks is that the letters are made from a mirror-like material, so looking at them I see myself reflecting back from the

Introducing Hope - Mary Szpara Style
By Robin Weaver
A friend introduced me to Mary London Szpara, believing we’d
have something in common because Mary is also a widow. That friend had no idea just how much we’d
have in common, a “commonality” that far exceeds shared grief. Six years later, we’re still best buds.
When I saw the theme for this month’s blog—hope—Mary
immediately came to mind. Not only does

Hope - with feathers and song
This month’s topic was a tough one for me, given the current world condition. These days, I feel as though I’m holding my breath whilst racing across eggshells. I’m almost afraid to hope. So I looked elsewhere for the words that I was unable to muster.
“Hope” is the thing with feathers – (314)

That perches in the soul -

A Christmas RomCom about MISTLETOE, MOBSTERS, & MOZZARELLA by Peggy Jaeger
This month's prompt is to introduce you dear readers to our current WIP - Work in Progress. At any given time I'm usually working on 3-4 projects all at once, so I've picked this year's holiday release to tell you about.
I love writing about families, and my fictional Italian/American family, the San Valentino's is one of the most near and dear to my heart.

Love In Isolation
By Cassandra O'Leary
The Romance Writers of Australia conference was a little different this year, as most things are in 2020, the year of the plague. COVID-19 Has meant many changes to our daily lives here in Australia, and especially where I live in Melbourne. For international readers who may not be aware, Melbourne has the dubious honour of being the home of Australia's worst virus
