Where in the World is Jennifer? Stop #6
Thank you all for playing! My school visits today were cancelled due to snow, which was disappointing, but the upside is that I get to come back in warmer weather! And bonus – I got a ton of writing done while holed up in my hotel room!
If you are somewhere with free time, and you haven’t yet had a chance to read THE TRAITOR’S GAME, you might want to check it out! If you have read it, and if you liked it, I’d appreciate you telling a friend about it!
In the meantime, can you find this new mystery city? Bonus discovery – it has a piece of the Berlin Wall!

Where in the World is Jennifer? Stop #5
You all are doing great! And I’m curious to see how you do with this post. If the first picture isn’t enough, then you can always try to figure out who I’m speaking with in the second picture and then try to figure out where they were!
The next picture will probably pop up soon – maybe by Tuesday or Wednesday. (Hint: I’ll have some extra time to post, because my school visits are going to be cancelled due to snow!)

Where in the World is Jennifer? Stop #4
Okay players, there’s a chance to win 4 points here. Two points for the Super-Easy-You-Absolutely-Must-Get-This-One-Right picture, and two points for the far more challenging one, though the first picture should at least give you a rough idea of the area where I am.
If you are playing, make sure you’ve commented on all four posts to date. And if you’re coming in late to the game, you can always start at the first post and get caught up!

Where in the World is Jennifer? Stop #3
There are two pictures today taken in two cities near each other, but if you get either city correct, I’ll still give you full points. The first is from the place where I was actually presenting, and the second is the best sign I’ve ever seen at an airport. I told the security guy that I’d be sure to recombobulate myself. I thought it was funnier than he did. For that reason, bonus point if you can define recombobulation in your own words (not pasted from the dictionary).
Also, if you’ve read THE TRAITOR’S GAME, I’d sure appreciate you leaving a review online or at least recommending it to your friends (especially if you enjoyed it!

Where in the World is Jennifer? Stop #2
For the second tour stop, I have a clue picture and also a really fantastic drawing done by a student showing Gerta’s face from A NIGHT DIVIDED. Study them carefully and you should be able to figure out where I am! Leave your answer in the comments!
If you didn’t get a chance to enter for Stop #1, you can always go back and get caught up!
The next tour stop should be posted in the next couple of days…good luck!

Where in the World is Jennifer? Stop #1
I want to begin by thanking those of you who have purchased copies of THE TRAITOR’S GAME or who have posted reviews online to spread the word about it.
Next, please understand I might be slow to post your comment because of my travel schedule. I’ll do my best, but be patient with me!
And finally – the game. For those who haven’t played, here are the rules:
1) Over the next few weeks, I will post an image of the city where I’m visiting. Some will be harder than others. Use any method you want to figure out where I am. Except by stalking me, of course, because that’s sorta creepy.
2) Post your guess in the comments. I will edit it out so that others don’t copy your answer. Whether I leave a ___ or the words “got it” makes no difference.
3) You get one point for the correct state and one for the correct city. At the end of the game, the person with the highest point total wins. In the event of a tie, a random drawing will be held for the winner.
4) The winner will receive a signed galley copy of my next historical, RESISTANCE.
5) International entries are okay, and all ages can play.
Okay, here is post #1: which airport am I at with this display? There are no more clues because there are other ways of figuring out where I’ve been so far this week.
Now, go forth and comment!

L’il Update for THE TRAITOR’S GAME
THE TRAITOR’S GAME will be released on Tuesday! There are three things you may want to know:
1) I will extend the pre-order gift pack offer for one more day – until the end of the day Sunday Feb 25th. Just because I you!

3) Sometime in the coming week, I will start the next round of “Where in the World is Jennifer Nielsen?” There will be somewhere between ten and thirteen cities, and I warn you, some of them will be pretty tough, so I’ll try to include some helpful clues in my posts.
Speaking sincerely, I am able to do my job only because so many of you continue to read my books and recommend them to others. As long as you are reading, I will keep writing. Thank you!

One final favor, over the next two weeks, will you please talk about the book on your favorite social media with the hashtag #TheTraitorsGame. I’d love to see your pictures, your art, your copies of the book, your gift packs, or any other way you’d like to talk about the book!

THE TRAITOR’S GAME Trailer!
The trailer for THE TRAITOR’S GAME will appear on my website soon and on YouTube, but for now, it gets to debut in a most exciting place – Entertainment Weekly! Please click through to watch it, then tell your friends to click through and watch it and then if you like it, come back and tell me what you think! (Okay, even if you didn’t like it, you can still come back and tell me.)
Most exciting to me is that the trailer was done almost entirely by my family, and every one of them played a role.
The narrator is my daughter, Sierra. The animation and modeling was done by my husband, Jeff, and two sons, Chase and Bridger. They hired out the modeling of the dagger and the artwork for the King’s playing card to some very talented people, but otherwise, what you see is the amazing work of those I love most in the world.
In case you missed the link above, it’s HERE. And remember, THE TRAITOR’S GAME will be released on February 27th.
If you want to see me in person, check out the Events page for my public events. Otherwise, you can pre-order a copy and get some neat-0 swag, including a signed bookplate for your purchased book.
