Panama City – Reflections
I'm back at Pach's with my cup full of the black liquid that starts my day, and I cannot help but wonder about my other little corner of the world and Enrique running from table to table; "Good Morning Senor Kenneth" has been replaced by "Welcome back Buddy." I watch as busy Tampa executives scurry in and out preparing for their day much like the people in Panama. I want to thank MIJ for running me around town and helping me get through the week. My goal during this trip was to set up a...

Panama City 22 January 2010
There is more to Panama than just the city or the canal. I wanted to see and meet the people who built this country. I rented a car yesterday just for that purpose. Once I had managed to escape the circluar web of roadways in the city, I traveled north along the PanAmericanas Highway and across the Americanas Bridge and over the Canal; what a site to behold. I traveled through the lush rainforest and into the foot hills with their valleys of palm trees and into the corn fields and...
Panama City 19 January 2010
A little of the old, and a little of the new. Panama City has so much to offer from the tourist to the retiree, Americans are seen throughout the City, however just like any major city there are always those who struggle.
Enrique has recognized me from yesterday and guides me to a window seat in what has become my Pach`s substitute. Once again I sit in my little corner of the world watching the people of Panama carry on with their daily lives. Across the street a woman of a tender age...

Panaman City 18 January 2010
I must say that I am very impressed with Panama City. A modern city that has retained the essance of its origin with Mother Nature lending a hand with its beauty. The statue of Balboa stands guard over the city at the waterfront, while palm trees line the street like centurion guards at the ready. The people are most impressive, more interested in lending a helping hand than chasing the all might dollar.
I am enjoying a cup of coffee at my hotel, watching the people scurrying about their...

Complaining and being "Tonto" (for my Latin friends)
Earlier tonight I was speaking with a marketing friend of mine; correction I was complaining to my friend… She lives in California and is a marketing director for a pretty good size company and basically she handles, well say we just say very successful books, no not mine Well I told her that it seemed that I spend three to four hours a night answering emails when I feel that I need to be paying more attention to my next book. She laughed and told me that I was complaining to the...

The Panamanian Princess
Read my new book "The Panamanian Princess"
A historical fiction novel that tells the story the Panamanian Princess. An action packed journey with American hero and Rough Rider Kenneth Douglas and Princess Maria of Panama, an unlikely couple who unite during the chaos of Panama's fight for independence from Colombian rule and fall madly in love. Set at the turn of the 20th century, The Panamanian Princess combines heart-pounding action and noteworthy romance across a cultural divide that...

The Panamanian Princess
A Writers Thoughts
An idea that is not put down on paper is just a passing thought. When I first started writing my current book I was attempting to do just that, place a thought upon paper. The Panamanian Princess is actually part three of a series that I have been working on. There has been a close relationship with the people of Panama and the people of the United States that I was not aware of until I had completed some research for this current project. Panama is a beautiful country...
