Interviewees Needed!
One of the things I love about Bible studies ishearing what God is doing in the lives of the people in the study. In addition to just enjoying each other, we get to build each other up and learn from each other.
I get to hear what God is teaching the people in the study, how they handle various problems, and what they’re struggling with, which is often the the same thing I’m struggling with.
That’s the same way I felt when I visited with my friend Terry on my podcast. Her interview encouraged m...

A few months ago, I interviewed my friend Terry who lost 140 pounds. Rather than doing it on video, I thought, I’ll just tape it and then I can make a podcast.

But thanks to Terry’s wise words of wisdom that I wanted to share with all of you, I persevered. And now I am excited to introduce my new podcast!

Do you ever find yourself eating because you’re tired? It’s easy to grab something thinking, This will perk me up, and then regret it when we’re still tired an hour later.
The truth is, eating may give us energy in the moment, but that energy never lasts for very long.
And while it may be essential at times—when we’re in danger of falling asleep at the wheel, for example—most of the time we’d be far better off if we just took a nap or did something active to boost our energy.

When You Feel Like You Will NEVER Break That Habit
Do you ever feel like you will never ever break free from that habit that controls you? That’s how I used to feel about my overeating habit. It was a stronghold in my life—a place I went to for comfort and something that controlled me.
Breaking free from a stronghold, sin, or idol is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. You’ll have times when you feel like you have the problem licked, and then you’ll be right back at it again a few months down the road.
