FAQs & ARCs
FAQsThank you to everyone who has sent me questions or comments. Your words of encouragement are alway appreciated. I love that so many people contact me, and I try my hardest to answer everyone, but recently it's become very hard to keep up with the amount of email I receive. I suppose being a Little Miss Popular is a good thing--I am humbled by the success I've had with my books, especially since I am self published--however, there just aren't enough hours in the day and I don't have a personal assistant. (HA! That would be so nice, wouldn't it?) A lot of the email I get seems to be a handful of the same questions over and over again, so I've posted a FAQ (frequently asked questions) page on my blog. Hopefully this will help reduce some of my emails. If you have a question for me, hopefully it's answered there, but if not, feel free to CONTACT ME.
ARCsI now have a new ARC mailing list that bloggers can sign up on if they would like to be contacted when I have ARCs ready for my books. Along with the FAQs page, I've also had to update my review copy policy. I now only offer review copies of my books prior to a book's release. Once a book comes out I'll no longer send out review copies. This is also in an effort to reduce the amount of work on my plate so that I can have more time to actually write. ( I know it's a bummer, sorry! But on the bright side, my books are all only a few bucks a piece, right?)
All is not lost though, because I will still always send out free review copies of my books a few months before they come out. All my review copies are digital. I send them out in MOBI, EPUB or PDF formats only. I don't send print copies to people because print copies of my books don't exist. Right now I publish strictly ebooks. If that ever changes I will let people know. If you are a blogger and would like to receive an email from me when these ARC's become available, sign up on my ARC MAILING LIST.

My Avery Shaw Experiment playlist
I don't listen to music while I write. I get way too distracted. I can't listen to music without singing and dancing along. Seriously. I have a problem. It's bad. But, I do always have a playlist to go along with each book I write, I just have to listen to them while I'm not trying to work.
Sometimes it's a mood or a sound that reminds me of the book I'm writing, or it's the lyrics, but usually it's a mixture of all three. I also have somewhat eclectic taste in music, so a lot of times my soundtracks turn out really random.
The list for Serial Hottie is already up on my extras page, but I'll try to get all of them up soon. For now, I'll start with The Avery Shaw Experiment.
So, here it is, in my personal playlist order... Enjoy!
1. Ring My Bell Anita Ward
(this is officially Grayson and Avery's song. See the story "Post Shower Avery And Grayson Things.")
2. Faded Soul Decision
3. What Makes You Beautiful One Direction
4. Kiss Prince
5. Get Lucky Daft Punk(ft. Pharrell Williams)
6. Too Close Next
7. Sexual Healing Marvin Gaye
8. Blurred Lines Robin Thicke (ft. Pharrell & T.I.)
9. Rock Your Body Justin Timberlake
10. Stereo Hearts Gym Class Hereos (ft. Adam Levine)
11. Weird Science Oingo Boingo (because you just have to have this one!)
What do you think? Do you have a song that is so Avery and Grayson? I'd love to hear it!

Happy INDIEpendence Day!
Happy 4th of July everyone! Hope everyone is having a safe and awesome day off. I'm just trying to escape the heat! In celebration of Independence Day, I have joined the Indelibles 2nd annual INDIEpendence Day blog hop!
Picking an author to spotlight for this was so hard! There are quite a few that I've fallen in love with over the years. Of course Colleen Hoover probably holds the top of the list with her amazing books. She won me over with Slammed and then completely blew me away with Hopeless. If you haven't read Colleen's books yet, seriously, get on that because you are missing out! Of course, she may not be an "indie" author anymore, now that she's so insanely popular, but she started out that way, so I say she still counts. Also, Hopeless is on sale for Kindle on Amazon right now for just $0.99! Go. Buy. It.
Others I love would be Tammy Blackwell for her Timberwolves series, Emma Raveling for her Ondine Quartet series, Samantha Young for her Lunarmorte series, and Sariah Wilson for The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back.
For my INDIEpendence Day spotlight I am going to rave about... Taylor Longford's Greystone series!
Summary for Valor (Greystone Book 1) via Goodreads.
Think you know about gargoyles? The beautiful winged race disappeared eight hundred years ago. Their greatest enemies were the brutal harpies that people today mistake for gargoyles.
Like all gargoyles, Valor is protective by nature. When he wakes to find a human girl in trouble, his first impulse is to help her. But the greatest risk to MacKenzie’s safety is himself. One scratch from the poisonous barbs on his knuckes and she’ll be lost to him forever.
MY THOUGHTS:
Don't let the gargoyle thing fool you, apparently they can be hot too! I love this series! I think Taylor is a lot more undiscovered than she deserves to be. Her books are creative and well written. I have been sucked into Makenzie's world and the tangled lives of each of her gargoyle friends for a long time now. I just fall in love with the series more with each book that is released. In fact, when writing this post today I discovered that Defiance is out now and I did a little happy dance. Guess what I'll be doing tonight after the fireworks are over and the kids are in bed! If you're looking for a great read that doesn't break the bank definitely give Taylor's books a try!
Connect with Taylor on GOODREADS, her WEBSITE, and FACEBOOK. And of course find her books on AMAZON and Barnes & Noble
The first book in the series VALOR is even available for FREE right now on amazon kindle, so you have no excuse! Click this LINK and start reading RIGHT NOW!
That is all. I have now said my peace. You now have my permission to go and enjoy your holiday. (After you download Valor, of course.) Happy INDIEpendence Day everyone!

INDIEpendence Day!
Hey guys!
So I survived a week as a leader for my church's girls camp. (Woot!) Had a great time but am so glad to be back home and showered and sleeping in my own bed tonight! Before I do that though, I thought I'd post a little blog to let you know that The Indelibles are hosting their 2nd annual INDIEpendence Day blog hop from July 2-5.
INDIEpendence Day is a great way to showcase some of your favorite indie authors! I know I have several, and will have a tough time choosing which fabulous author to spotlight.
Is there a self-publishd/small press author you love and want to recognize? Anyone can sign up to be a part of it. Here's the link to the blog hop info and signup. I look forward to seeing your recommendations!

Chameleon now Available + an exclusive sneak peak at More Than Jamie Baker
It feels like it's taken forever, but Chameleon is finally here!
For small-town rebel Dani Webber magic and monsters are no more real than the Easter Bunny… until the day she accidentally stops time. Dani quickly discovers that not only do supernaturals exist, but she herself is one of them. This is great news for her life-long best friend Russ, who can finally come clean about his own supernatural status and his undying love for her. Before the two can start to enjoy the long overdue relationship, Dani is taken by a powerful council of supernaturals who believe she is the Chosen One destined to save them from extinction.
As if being kidnapped and expected to save the world isn’t bad enough, an ancient prophecy warns of the Chosen One’s dark nature: “Only the truest love will keep her an agent for good.” The council believes they know who this “true love” is and, unfortunately, that person isn’t Russ. The mysterious, powerful and devastatingly handsome Seer is the last person Dani wants in her life, but when she starts having visions of a horrific future, she has no one else to turn to for help.
Soon Dani finds herself torn between two very different boys with two very different opinions of whom she can trust. With the visions getting worse and time running out, Dani is forced to put aside her feelings and work with both the Seer and Russ before an ancient evil is unleashed upon the earth.
Available now for just $3.99 at
Amazon & Barnes & Noble
Yes, it's a few days early because I will be out in the wilderness and away from all things technology all next week. (Wish me luck!) And if that isn't exciting enough...
