About Thinking Ink Press and Crowdfunding
It's been a long time since I've updated this blog. In the writing and publishing realm, my biggest news is that together with a few other people, I formed a small press in 2014 called Thinking Ink Press. It has been a wonderful experience.

I'll be reading at Flash Fiction Forum
I’ll be reading my flash fiction story "Fractions," at the next Flash Fiction Forum event in San Jose.
When: Wednesday, May 14, 7:00 pm-8:45 pm.
Where: WORKS Gallery 365 South Market St., San Jose, CA
The gallery is inconspicuous from the street but there should be a signboard out. WORKS offers wine and beer for sale as well as water. Street parking is hard to find, but free after 6 pm. The closest parking is in the Convention Center on Market, literally in the same building as WORKS; that co...

Why write The Parents' Guide to Perthes?
I got started on this project after a conversation with Dr. Charles T. Price. I know Dr. Price through the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. He heads up the medical board, and I’m on the advisory board so we keep in touch, though he’s in Florida and I’m in California. Doorways to Extra Time at Books, Inc.
I'll be at Books Inc in Mountain View on Thursday, September 26th at 7:00 pm together with four other Bay Area authors featured in DOORWAYS. We'll all be reading our stories. Books, Inc. is a great venue with good coffee and books and this is a terrific anthology, so it will be a fun event!
