Why write The Parents' Guide to Perthes?

I got started on this project after a conversation with Dr. Charles T. Price. I know Dr. Price through the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. He heads up the medical board, and I’m on the advisory board so we keep in touch, though he’s in Florida and I’m in California.
