OMG! I've got a book coming out! Part six.

I made the above cloud at Wordle.net by pasting in the entire text of Della Says: OMG! The first thing I noticed is that 'know' is actually bigger than the character names, which can't be right. Although I was pleased that 'Maddy' is almost as big as 'Dan'. Shows that Della's best friend is as important as her boyfriend. I also laughed at that four letter word (no, not one of those) in pink, smack in the middle. I've obviously got the same problem as fellow YA author Cat Clarke.

Wanting Wednesday: Olympus PEN

I don't know much about the specs of this camera, all I know is it's beautiful and it totally appeals to the nostalgia-monkey in me.

It reminds me of the cameras from my childhood. I can feel that case. I can *smell* that case. And I need a new camera, I really do. I think there's a waiting list for this one, though. Maybe I should've called this post "Waiting Wednesday"…

OMG! I've got a book coming out! Part five.

The first teaser postcards for Della Says: OMG! went out last week (or possibly the week before, I'm all upskittled* with the Easter weekend). My lovely friend Luisa sent me this very artfully posed picture, which made me *squee*. I'm not sure exactly who they've been sent to, but lots of lovely book bloggers got one, so that's good.

And then last week another teaser postcard went out. Jenny from Wondrous Reads sent me this photo. Isn't it lovely? I don't know how many more there are to go...

I seriously would not be where I am today (in the lounge, watching Gossip Girl On Demand, eating the children's Easter Eggs…) if it wasn't for self-help books. Seriously. And so I am a believer. Wanting Wednesday: Pink specs

I'm not sure about pink glasses. I'm worried it might be one pink thing too far. But at the same time… PINK GLASSES! And I do need new glasses. I might give them a try.

The theme of the past week has, once again, mostly been Fretting About My Parties. Will anyone come? If people do come, will they laugh at me? What will they expect? What will I wear?
