Music Monday – Happy
Today is my friend AJ’s birthday. You know her from Blackraven’s Reviews and Blackraven’s Designs. One of her of her favorite songs is Happy by Pharrell Williams.
She’s been an invaluable help and friend to me over the years, especially the past few months and I wish her a very Happy Birthday!
She’s always posting on social media and she would love it if you stopped by…

Sunday Speeds
The race is about to start, and I’m about to sit down and relax. It’s been a long week and after the time change this morning, I’m still not functioning as awesomely as I should be.
In case you haven’t been paying attention, I had a new release earlier this week. Book Two in my Bad Boys of Racing Series…Grinding Gears. I hope you’ll give Alli and Jason a chance. Reading Stick Shift, Book One in the series, is, well, yes, necessary. Because those characters all show up in Grinding Gears and the...

I pin ALL THE TIME. Do you hear me? ALL. THE. TIME. I love it. I really do. I can’t get enough of it. I pin food, crochet pictures, cakes, coffee, tattoos, books, diy projects, kitchens, offices, organizational things… I find inspiration there, I find recipes for dinner, crafts to try, dreamy things, fun things, practical and useful things. I find ways to connection and share and broaden my horizons with Pinterest. I tried not to fall in love with i...
Author Friday – Meghan March
Beneath This MaskBeneath This Mask was incredible. It was beautiful, sweet, heartbreaking. It was near flawless, and I devoured it.

Tune In and Tune Up Thursday
On a podcast I listened to last week on Entrepreneur on Fire, Racheal Cook of The Yogipreneur talked a lot about mindfulness, slowing down, and how she built her business slowly by focusing on one thing at a time, being consistent, someone that could be trusted to do what she said she was going to do when she said she was going to do it. I truly love that concept. The host of Entrepreneur on Fire said… Follow One Course Until Success… FOCUS. This I loved as well. I took two pages of notes that...

Wordy Wednesday – Mental Matter
Yesterday was release day. YAY!!!!!!! (Yes, all the exclamation points are necessary) Grinding Gears is doing all right. Not spectacular. Not fantastic. But, it’s doing all right. And I’m happy that it is. I’m okay that it is. Would I like it to be doing better? Selling more? Definitely. Am I doing stuff to help that? Here and there. Most would say I should be doing it everywhere. Some would say I should be spending 10+ hours a day marketing, telling everyone about it, posting it everywhere o...

Temptation Tuesday – Grinding Gears
It’s here, y’all! It’s finally HERE!
Grinding Gears is live and available for you to enjoy. It’s got a hot yummy Texas boy who drives fast cars and it’s got a corporate grind paralegal who needs something new in her life that she isn’t even aware of. It’s a good thing she’s got good friends who love and care for her. This is the second book in my Bad Boys of Racing series, that was never supposed to be a series, but damn, I love writing it. It’s taken me a long time to do so, but I’m happy...

Music Monday – Marry You
As I’ve been working on The Tattooed Barista, continually looking at the cover with the wedding dress because it’s such a fantastic cover (Thank you Brandy), this Bruno Mars song keeps going through my head…
Of course, I can’t guarantee that there will be a wedding in the book or that it won’t turn into a murder mystery where Peg kills the hero, Derek for the lie he’s told… But the cover is beautiful and the song makes writing it fun…

Sunday Speeds
It’s the second weekend in the 2015 Nascar season and while I’m excited that we’re racing again, I’m very bummed still that Kyle Busch is out for a few months due to his accident in Daytona. He suffered a compound fracture in his right leg and a compound fracture in his left foot. He’s had surgery, is back in North Carolina, and at home recovering and resting, but the races just aren’t the same without him in the #18.
This week David Ragan will be taking up the seat for Kyle and it sounds like...

Music Monday – Old Alabama
Yesterday was the Daytona 500. It was bittersweet for me. My driver, Kyle Busch was in a wreck on Saturday in the Xfinity race. His right leg and his left foot are broken and required surgery overnight. He will be out of the car for several months and Joe Gibbs Racing hasn’t announced yet who the driver of the No. 18 will be until Kyle returns. It just wasn’t fun without him in the race.
I have to applaud Matt Crafton though, who filled in for Kyle in the race. He did a fantastic job.
The other...
