Muldoon’s Minnesota Darling Pull Quote, Chapter 6
I created these pull quotes with the first cover background. The cover is under redesign to match the 3-book series, Those Resilient Muldoons. Book 1 will launch in July 2024!
In this chapter, the townsmen address a serious issue among them. This is Mick’s reaction to their discussion on how to resolve it with unavailable law enforcement in the 1875 Minnesota township.

Grits of Worry
Every morning, I journal thoughts from Bible study or devotions through the YouVersion app. In the past, I’ve battled with anxiety, and thank God in Heaven it doesn’t run my life anymore. Prayer turns grits of worry into pears.
Do you journal? I’ve kept all my journals since 2007. When I read them, I’m amazed by my growth in specific areas. It’s a change b y the grace of God and His faithfulness to me. #worrying #anxietyissues #prayabouteverything

A Surprisingly Enjoyable Interview
Bravery is risking your comfort to do something scary, right? It might not be dangerous, but it could be extremely intimidating. As authors and writers the industry expects us to do multiple jobs—be creative, write, network, marketing, handle social media, learn all the programs for all those things, AND interact with our audiences.
Bravery is something introverts need to accomplish anything on the list. We just might enjoy the tasks more than we expect. What steps have you taken to climb your own mountain of tasks and learning?

Dearest Mercy
Often, as I read devotionals or Scripture in my mornings before the day begins, I glean a message for my spirit and growth. These thoughts are mine:
What are mercy’s enemies?
Pride. Arrogance. Selfishness? Maybe my own simple distraction—nothing horrid but being too busy to notice misery.
It’s easy to fall prey to any of those. Mercy is compassion for the miserable. It’s a valuable commodity in any era of life. I think most of us experienced a measure of misery recently.
How do we dispense mercy to others? Give grace. Grace and Mercy are companions. #mercy #grace #christianauthor

Ireland’s Jewels Series #3 of 5
Water, weather lakes, creeks, rivers, or oceans always compels me to explore nearby. I think I hear a piano or harp melody every time I get close enough, ha! We came across an island tour when we stayed in Killarney Town. The motor boat tour took us to an uninhabited island on Loch Lein, Inisfallen. We had half and hour to explore it. Here’s what we found.
Waiting for the Inisfallen Island tour boat
Charlie the guide taking us to Inisfallen.
Inisfallen
Many a ruin in Ireland to explore. Sometimes marked with a history, sometimes not.
We guessed this is the monks dormitory.
Path along the edge of Inisfallen
Springy moss covered earth and tree roots. My feet bounced as I hiked!
Oh, deer. The island wasn’t completely uninhabited, was it?
Inisfallen shore
Tour boat awaits our return to Ross Castle.I hope you’ve enjoyed these photos of this serene piece of Ireland. I could’ve stayed all day to savor it, because I was a hiker for years and haven’t been physically able. God gave me this sweet gift for some writing inspiration. I wonder what story I could create with this? Any ideas?

Thought Of The Day
Do you journal? I do most days. My thoughts from devotionals help me recall what I learn from Bible study. I hope this one helps someone out there. We’re all in this life together.

Ireland’s Jewels Series #2 of 5
The Castle holds a modern encounter with its 800-years of drama, the sieges of 1642, 1651, and 1690/1691, and the ensuing warfare. The Castle towers grant you a 365 degree visual of Limerick and surrounding areas. (See the featured photo).
View of the River Shannon and King John’s Castle below: The Normans arrived in Ireland in 1169, and made Limerick a Royal city, then started to build this castle. They put it under the direct rule of King John of England, Lord of Ireland.

The Siege of 1690/1691 occurred in Europe’s battle between Protestant King William III, and Catholic King James for the English crown when it reached Ireland. The castle eventually surrendered under the Treaty of Limerick after their defeat at the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.
