Club Dead – Charlaine Harris

Club Dead is book three in The Southern Vampire Mysteries. It begins with Bill, heroine Sookie's vampire boyfriend, taking a trip. He's on some top secret mission which he's not even allowed to tell Sookie about, and he implies it could be dangerous. When he's not back after a few days, Sookie fears the worst.

So, it appears, does his sexy boss Eric Northman. Soon, Sookie is taking another trip across country. This time she's off to Jackson, Mississippi. And so enters another supernatural...

Living Dead in Dallas – Charlaine Harris

Living Dead in Dallas is book number two in The Southern Vampire Mysteries, also known as the True Blood Novels. I'm reviewing all these books based purely on what's between the covers, without making any comparisons to the TV show.

By now, we're already getting familiar with the characters, their traits, who's good, who's bad, and so on. Enter Sookie, the telepathic waitress. She's just trying to live a normal life, despite the fact she's dating a vampire, something that doesn't go down too w...

Totty Tuesday – Misha Collins

15th June 2010 – Mmm? What? Oh sorry, I was distracted by those eyes. Lovely, aren't they? Fans of super-duper sexy scary show Supernatural will of course know already who this fella is. His name is Misha Collins, and he plays the angel Castiel in the show. And what a fab character he is, never fails to make me laugh. And it helps, of course, that he's gorgeous too.

Misha has also been in Nip/Tuck, CSI, ER and 24. None of which I've ever seen so this is why he's only recently come to my...

Sex Toy Review: Fun Factory SmartBalls Teneo Duo

The lovely lot at Sh! Women's Erotic Emporium sent me some love eggs/love balls to try out. And here they are: the Fun Factory SmartBalls Teneo Duo. Yes, quite the mouthful… but that's not where they go! ;)

No, these little babies are to put… well, up *there.* They have a couple of uses: they can tighten up your bits after childbirth; give you longer stronger orgasms; or they can make you feel a bit naughty. So really, they're capable of multi-tasking and will make you smile.

Some women wear...

Totty Tuesday – Alexander Skarsgard

1st June 2010 – My last but one Totty Tuesday gave me some food for thought, as did a couple of episodes of True Blood that I watched. After seeing him in very few clothes, I say hell-o to Alexander Skarsgard. Up until his appearance in True Blood, he was little-known in the English-speaking world. But now he's getting women all over the world hot under the collar!

Son to Stellan Skarsgard, who was absolutely ace in Mamma Mia, Alexander plays Eric Northman in True Blood. Because of where...

Dead Until Dark – Charlaine Harris

I'm going to review this book without drawing any comparison to the TV show based on it, True Blood.

Dead Until Dark is the first book in The Southern Vampire Mysteries, written by Charlaine Harris. They're based around a character called Sookie Stackhouse, who's described a small-time cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana.

You find out very quickly when reading this book that Sookie has an attitude. Not a bad one, as such, she's just very feisty. She's had to be, due to circumstances in h...

Apartment 16 – Adam Nevill

Having read and really enjoyed Adam Nevill's previous horror novel, Banquet for the Damned, I really looked forward to getting my hands on this one.

Apartment 16 is set mainly in Barrington House, an upmarket block in London. It's in a very rich area and is full of loaded and eccentric inhabitants. Seth is the new night watchman and after a few shifts, he starts hearing noises coming from an apartment. Nothing unusual, you might think, except the apartment has been empty for fifty years. Seth ...

Totty Tuesday – John Corbett

24th May 2010 – I'd actually forgotten all about this hottie until I saw the Sex and the City 2 trailer when I went to the cinema on Saturday night. This is John Corbett, who played Aidan, Carrie's boyfriend in Sex and the City. And the good news is, ladies, that he's back in the second film! I always thought she should have stuck with him over Mr. Big, he's much sexier! Or at least he is on screen… I had quite the struggle to find a hot photo of him – there are lots of him being rather the c...

The Adulteress – Noelle Harrison

The Adulteress is a story told from duel viewpoints. Nicholas has left his cheating wife and moved to rural Cavan, with no real idea how he's going to live or keep the house going. But the house seems to speak to him, and he discovers that there is a spirit present. It is the spirit of June Fanning, a woman who used to live in the house and whose presence emanates regret. She wants to tell Nicholas a story, the story of an adulteress. Trouble is, it's the last thing he wants to hear after...

Product Review: Whiz Freedom

Not my usual kind of product review, I know, but nevertheless I think women will love the Whiz Freedom. You see, it's a gadget that means you can whiz/wee/pee/urinate/whatever-word-you-use in public without getting your bottom out.

Sh! Women's Erotic Emporium sent it to me to test out – along with some more erotic items which I shall review at a later date.

Basically, you hold the Whiz firmly against your lady parts and let your tinkle go. It's great for people who go walking and camping, and e...
