Sunday Snog – Lesbian Lust

Sunday Snog

While the Boys Are AwayBecause I loved joining in with Blissekiss so much, and because my buddy Victoria Blisse is awesome, I've decided to join in with the Sunday Snog more often. It would seem that my Sapphic stories are very popular, and I'm all for giving people what they want, so I'm going to share a snog from my latest lesbian erotica release, While the Boys Are Away:

Reaching out a hand, Amelia switched on the shower then ducked back quickly. The water pounded down into the tray, and seconds later steam started to fill the air. Amelia tested the heat and, satisfied, stepped in. Gemma quickly joined her, but not before retrieving her bottles of shampoo and shower gel from her bag.

Dropping the containers onto the shelf behind her girlfriend, Gemma happily let herself step into Amelia's embrace. They stood there for a few seconds, not moving, letting the water pummel and heat their skin.

As they were a similar height, the girls' breasts were crushed together, soft flesh moulding against soft flesh. Gemma leaned closer and caught Amelia's mouth in a smouldering kiss, which was immediately returned. Before long, tongues were in mouths, andhands were tangled in hair and slipping between willing thighs.

Pulling away suddenly, Amelia growled, "Fuck, Gem. Lean against the wall and spread 'em. I've got to taste you."

You can get your hands on this mini-anthology by checking out the buy links here.

Also, don't forget to head back to Victoria's site and see what other luscious lip to lip action other authors have posted. Yum!

Product Review: BlueBella Eliza Bra & Briefs

BlueBella Eliza Underwear SetI've played around with some graphics so the BlueBella Eliza Satin Plunge Bra and the BlueBella Eliza Satin Briefs are displayed together, but they're actually available as separate items from Lovehoney.

They're not cheap, but then bras in larger sizes rarely are. However, with this set I would say it's definitely value for money. The bra and briefs are really attractive and well-made – I can't see these falling to pieces any time soon. They're also really comfortable, and yet still sexy.

The bra is a good fit, and when teamed up with the matching briefs, you'll definitely feel feminine and sexy. Suitable for daytime or evening wear, if you're looking for a pretty new underwear set, you should definitely check out the BlueBella Eliza Satin Plunge Bra and the BlueBella Eliza Satin Briefs. Even better, get your partner to treat you! ;)

Guest Blog: Doris O'Connor

Tortured Heroes by Doris O'Connor

As a reader I love a tortured hero and as an author I love writing them even more. I call them the two T's tall and tortured—a must have. Every one of the heroes I have ever written could be summed up by that description, but I think Lucas may be the most tortured yet. I didn't quite realise how tortured he was until I sat down to write his story. As he slowly revealed his past, I shed a few tears for my delicious vamp and at times wanted to jump into the manuscript and give him a big hug.

I can see you all backing away slowly now. Stay away from the crazy lady. He's your hero, why didn't you change things? Well, the jury is out still on the crazy part, but as for changing things, that's not that easy.  My stories are entirely character driven and when I don't do as I'm told, then they stop talking. And when a character reveals his past, well that's just it, his past. I couldn't change it. He wouldn't be who he is today.

As you may have guessed my characters are very real people to me and I try very hard to do them justice on paper so to speak. I will leave it up to you to decide whether I've succeeded with Lucas. His inner struggle is one of the things that my heroine Coralie can really relate to, and is ultimately what wins her over, as they strive to connect emotionally when the odds are stacked against them.

I leave you with a little snippet of the start of that connection.

The fury and barely controlled violence radiating off Lucas made Coralie swallow nervously. He watched her warily, hands pushed into the back pockets of his jeans, his muscles straining the material of his tee.  Damn it, it just wasn't fair. Even after everything that had happened her body reacted to him instantly. She straightened her shoulders and crossed her arms over the soft robe and glared at the man watching her with an unblinking gaze.

"Where the hell are my clothes? How dare you…" Heat rose in her cheeks, when she realized it must have been him undressing and washing her. And why the fuck didn't she have any memories of that? The last thing she remembered was Lucas fighting with the fairy and Carmen's cruel laughter.

"They reeked of fairy, as did you. Forgive me for taking care of you and saving your life – again. How dare I indeed? Next time I happen to find you in deadly peril, I'll just leave you to it, shall I, Chere?"

The growled endearment settled somewhere perilously close to her heart and Coralie's conscience chose that moment to whisper in her ear. Shame flooded her and she dropped her gaze to the floor. Her mum would be turning in her grave right now. Lucas's frustrated sigh and mumbled words of French made her bare toes curl into the plush cream carpet. She could almost hear her mother berate her. "It doesn't matter one iota what somebody looks like, what race he is or what his reputation is like. Sweet words are easy and mean nothing. What matters is inside and actions speak louder than words, so remember that in future, Coralie."

Her mother's wise words increased her discomfort. Vampire or not, he had saved her life twice. Shit, he almost killed himself trying to convince her that he hadn't turned her. And as despicable as his actions in Carmen's presence seemed, Coralie was still alive and relatively unharmed, the chunk of lost time and the big black hole in her recent memory notwithstanding. Had he caused that memory loss?

Lucas had moved away from her to the bar at the other side of the living area. He had his back to her and she allowed her eyes to feast freely. The dejected slump of his big shoulders and the heavy-handed way in which he poured himself a straight Scotch spoke of deep-seated wariness and her whispering conscience settled in the pit of her stomach with intensity.

"I'm sorry." His head shot up at her whispered words and he turned around slowly. Coralie's heart gave another little lurch inside her tight chest when she saw the swirling emotions in his brilliant green eyes.

"Don't." He ran one hand through his hair, making the slightly damp strands stick up and Coralie's heart skipped another beat. He looked to the floor and the white-knuckled grasp on his glass lessened slightly. "You're right. I am a monster who shouldn't exist. I don't blame you, running from me. Most people do and with good reason. The fact that I need to drink their blood is usually an instant conversation stopper."

His eyes briefly flickered to her face.  He swore and threw the glass in his hand against the nearest wall with such force it shattered into a gazillion pieces. Coralie jumped at the display of violence and he swore again.

"Merde, Chere, I so want to take that look out of your eyes, but I can't."

*****

Lure Of ForeverYou'd think a three thousand year old vampire would believe in forever. Not Lucas. He has an escaped demon to hunt and no time for the follies of humankind. When strip-o-gram Coralie arrives on his boat, she awakens human instincts long buried, and protecting her becomes of paramount importance.

Coralie, standing in for a friend, is mortally embarrassed at having stumbled onto the wrong boat. The vampire wannabe she encounters makes her body sing in ways she never thought possible. Finding out that he is indeed the real thing throws everything she ever believed in into doubt.

With the demon closing in and the future of humanity in peril will they manage to find their forever?

Author bio

Glutton for punishment would be a good description for Doris…   at least that's what she hears on an almost daily basis when people find out that she has a brood of nine children, ranging from adult to baby and lives happily in a far too small house, cluttered with children, pets, dust bunnies and one very understanding and supportive husband.  Domestic goddess she is not.

There is always something better to do after all, like working on the latest manuscript and trying not to scare the locals even more than usual by talking out loud to the voices in her head. Her sexy Alpha heroes and sassy heroines tend to be pretty insistent to get their stories told, and you will find Doris burning the midnight oil on a regular basis. Only time to get any peace and quiet and besides, sleep is for wimps. She writes contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance.

German born, Doris now resides in the middle of a busy town in Bedfordshire/England and dreams of a nice big house by the sea, with plenty of space to run kids and dogs and let her imagination soar.

New Release & Giveaway: Sunset Desires by C. R. Moss

Sunset DesiresBLURB:

A blind date. A hot tropical evening. She'll be someone he can't forget. He'll fulfill her ultimate fantasy.

Gwendolyn Tramonto is stunned to learn her cousin set her up with sex on the beach and it's not the drink. But after a several year dry spell of no relationships, no dates…no sex, Gwen decides to take her cousin up on her offer and go out on the blind date. For once, she'd like to indulge in a fantasy, be wined and dined instead of the other way around, and if she and the man ended up in bed together, that would be a nice bonus.

Evan Cadell is looking forward to the date his uncle arranged for him through an exclusive matchmaking service and taking a one night break from work, life and all its demands. From Gwen's profile, Evan knows what her fantasy is and believes he's the man who can make it come true. But will one night in paradise be enough to satisfy their desires?

EXCERPT #1:

"Do you like what you see?" His sinfully rich, accented voice carried across the room.

Heat filled her cheeks. With a hard gulp, she nodded, not able to take her focus off his beautiful body. Each toned muscle created a wonderful form, from his defined deltoids and biceps to a six pack abdomen she could wash a shirt on. She chuckled internally. Her descriptive thought pattern may have been cliché, but appropriate all the same. He strolled over to her, his tall form of rippling muscle closing and destroying the buffer between them.

"I hear your fantasy is to be on a tropical island." Evan glanced off to the left where a large picture window framed the beach and water. "We have that part covered." He stood behind her, their bodies an inch—maybe two—apart, returning his gaze to hers in the mirror. "That you wanted to be picked up by a handsome guy and by the looks I've been getting from you, I seem to have your approval." Brushing a lock of hair behind her ear, he whispered, "And that you wanted to be in a private location for an erotic assignation. Isn't that so?"

Images from vampire movies she'd seen over the years filled her mind. He may not have been a vampire, but he was just as sensual as one. What spurred on thoughts of Nosferatu? His voice? His confident moves? He inclined his head, his gaze transfixed on hers in a mesmerizing stare, almost daring her to deny the attraction. His mouth, so very close to her throat, let slip wicked hot breath against her skin. If he were a vampire, this would be the part where he'd bite her. She pushed the fictional thoughts aside, desiring reality, welcoming him to kiss her…lick her…suckle on the curve where her shoulder met her neck. She leaned back, bare parts of her skin encountering the hard planes of his chest.

"Shall we…?" His voice rumbled in his chest and against her back.

Shall we what? her mind screamed as sexual tension warred with her logic. She swallowed hard again. How much of her fantasy did he know?

Book Review: The Distant Hours by Kate Morton

Article first published as Book Review: The Distant Hours by Kate Morton on Blogcritics.

The Distant HoursI'm a fan of Kate Morton's work so I was happy to settle down and read The Distant Hours. At 670 pages, it isn't a book you can whizz through, nor is it an easy read. But if you're looking for an intriguing read with more threads than a spider's web, then you should definitely check it out.

This is the story of Milderhurst Castle. It begins with a long lost letter, which results in Edie Burchill taking a trip from London to Kent in search of the grand old castle, and the three Blythe sisters that live within it. Edie is linked to the castle because her mother lived there when she was evacuated during World War II – and it was from here that the mysterious letter came.

Soon after her arrival in Milderhurst village, Edie finds herself fascinated by the story of the three sisters and the decaying castle. This fascination only increases when she starts to find out more about them and their lives – particularly the fact that none of them ever married, and that the two older sisters spent most of their lives looking after their younger sister, due to her taking a funny turn when her fiancé jilted her in 1941.

Edie's own mother's past is wrapped up in the castle, and as she sets about unravelling it, she discovers that there are more secrets than she could have ever imagined hidden within the old stones. Stories of love, loss, family, friendship… and some much more sinister tales, too.

Kate Morton has turned out another fabulous book here. With books this long, there's a danger that it won't hold the reader's interest, or that there's superfluous information. This is definitely not the case with The Distant Hours. It's telling the story of a castle and its inhabitants across the span of many, many years and several generations of family. There's a lot to tell and it's all relevant to the plot. I, for one, was drawn in very quickly to the narrative, and found myself, just as Edie was, to find out more and more about the happenings at Milderhurst Castle. Morton has an enviable knack of telling a story in such a way that she gives you titbits of information that make you desperate to find out the full story. This happens throughout, giving you lots to think and wonder about, not least how it will all tie together at the end of the novel. But tie together it does, with a satisfactory if not tragic ending.

I really enjoyed The Distant Hours and think Kate Morton's imagination and style of storytelling is incredible. I'll be looking forward to more of her books.

Guest Blog: Victoria Blisse

I'm a Voyeur by Victoria Blisse

As a reader of erotic romance I count myself as a literary voyeur. I like to sit in the shadows and watch a person's life unfold before me. I enjoy seeing the intimate moments wherever they might happen with no fear of being seen and reprimanded for watching what I shouldn't.

So when the Wednesday Briefs gang decided to come up with some hot and steamy anthologies to showcase our slightly bigger briefs -that's 3k short stories folks before your minds disappear elsewhere- the first theme we picked was voyeurism.

It's a theme that has inspired a great variety of responses from our authors, 14 completely different stories in two anthologies in fact. All about people watching other people enjoying themselves. A lot.

Wicked Watchers: The Pursuit of PleasureHere's the blurb for my story in Wicked Watchers: Pursuit of Pleasure:

What's in the Box

The things one does for siblings! Two sisters attend a performance, but the attention of one wanders, and she discovers that there are far more interesting happenings then what is going on up on the stage. Should she reveal herself, or simply keep watching the private show?

And now the excerpt:

I squirm in my seat as he runs his lips down to her neck. His hands grip her tits, his thumbs brush her nipples. There seems to be a whispered interlude and he sits in one of the old plastic chairs. The lady turns, her red curls bobbing up and down with the movement as she seductively hitches up her skirt. She's wearing stockings; I can see the darker black stripe around her thigh. I wish I was as confident in my curves as she obviously is in hers. She sways sexily from side to side as she moves backwards. I cannot tell, but I'm sure his gaze will be fixed on her arse. I bet he's desperate for her to sit in his lap.

Laughter rings around the auditorium. I look towards the stage for the moment and join in with a light giggle.

"Great show, isn't it?" Janice whispers, not looking my way even for a second.

"Oh, yeah," I reply enthusiastically, even though I know the show I'm enjoying isn't the same one she's talking about. I know that I should look to the stage. I really should try and pay attention so I can converse with my sister on our walk back to the train station, but I can't because I need to know what's happening in the box.

Totty Tuesday – Liam Hemsworth

Liam and Chris HemsworthI like to try and do topical Totty Tuesday posts wherever possible, which is where Liam Hemsworth comes in. I saw him in The Hunger Games over the weekend. I thought he would be a more major character than he was, actually, but what I saw of him was pretty good. And, although he's not a patch on his brother, he's still cute. I suspect as he gets older he'll go from cute to HOT (which is what happened with Chris!), so keep an eye on him, eh?

And yes, how nice am I, giving you a two for one on the totty? Really, it was just a damn good excuse to post another photo of Chris, but I don't think many of you will be complaining, right? Especially since we have The Avengers and Snow White and the Huntsman still to look forward to!

So, anyway, if you were thinking about seeing The Hunger Games, then I'd definitely recommend it. You won't see too much of Liam, unfortunately, but it's so action-packed that you'll be too engrossed to notice.

The Cottage in the Woods Gets Flashed!

The Cottage in the WoodsI had another fab review for The Cottage in the Woods over the weekend – yay! This time, Erotic Flashes covered this f/f erotic romance short story, and commented:

"Lucy has a great talent for weaving an unusual storyline, and keeping you reading until the end. In such a short story, Lucy managed to give the characters strong personalities that lead you to understanding who they are, instead of telling you outright – excellent. If anyone is new to reading F/F romances and doesn't know where to start, this is a really good place, as it eases you in gently. A great, short read." 4 out of 5

You can read the full review here.

It's that time again! Yes, time for another Blissekiss! This time, the theme is charity – that is, every story that is excerpted is a book (or from a book) which has proceeds going to charity.

Just check out the yummy snogging excerpt below, which will hopefully entice you to buy the book ;) Then, scroll down to the Rafflecopter and make your entries to be in with a chance of winning an awesome prize. Finally, hop back to Blissekiss.co.uk and check out the excerpts and prizes from all the other authors – there's tons of stuff to be won!

Uniform Behaviour

Excerpt from Just Couldn't Wait, my story in Uniform Behaviour.

Taking another sip of fizz, she put the bottle back on the desk and stepped towards Sam. She pushed him towards the desk until the edge hit his legs. He sat down, putting him at a much more manageable height. Then she kissed him. He tasted of champagne and smelled of a subtle but masculine scent. He slipped his arms beneath hers, grabbed her hips and pulled her closer. His strength had put her a little off-balance and her instinct was to grab his biceps to steady herself. It didn't work. Carla's fingers had encountered solid muscle – and plenty of it, which resulted in her feeling all the more giddy. Was there no end to this guy's perfection?

Still grasping one of his arms and squeezing – subtly, she hoped – she moved her other hand to his hair. Carla had always had a thing for guys with long hair. Too often though, guys either had awful pony tails or greasy locks – hardly a turn-on. Not so with Sam. His hair was clean and soft, ideal for tangling fingers into. So that's what she did, using her grip as leverage to deepen their kiss. He responded by looping his hands together behind her back, completely enveloping her in his arms. Just as well, really, as the mixture of champagne and lust was turning Carla into a weak-kneed mess.

Realising neither of them was really in control of the situation any more, Carla decided to relax and just go with the flow. Their tongues explored one another's mouths and their hands were wandering. Carla slipped her hand from Sam's hair downwards. She briefly fiddled with his bow tie, grinning to herself as she remembered what he was wearing, then trailed her hand down his chest and torso. She encountered more muscle. He was definitely hiding a nice firm body beneath that outfit. And that wasn't all, she noticed, as her hand pressed against the bump between his legs. His cock was rock hard and red hot through the thin material of his trousers. She got the impression that it was perfectly in proportion to the rest of him, too. She certainly hoped so.
