New Book Just Published
"The Wonders of Costa Contente" is now available on Amazon. (Kindle edition only).

Free Cover Creator on Kindle
I'm just about to publish my sequel to "Murder, Jaz, & Tel Aviv", after pulling it out of a box where it has been napping for many years.
I managed to format and upload it properly, (I hope), and then went to work on the cover. When I finally had the photo I wanted to use, I set about employing power point to create the cover. I'd used this method not-so-successfully for my novella, but hadn't figured out a better way to do it.
Between last night and today, I spent hours trying to figure out how to get the power point slide into a jpeg without the background pp template, yet still retaining the title/author. I'm not sure how I finally did it, but I did and quickly went to Kindle to upload it....then I saw the "Cover Creator" button. What? When did they get that?
Using the same photo I had wanted, and clicking a few more buttons, I had a really cool cover. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until the admin folks remove the first cover I uploaded, since I can't seem to do that.
I wish I had bothered to check this out before I spent all those hours of frustration on a book cover!

ABNA 2nd round reviews
Although I got cut after the ABNA second round, I did get one fantastic review. Also got one from someone who couldn't understand what I was writing.

Made round 2 of ABNA - cut in 1/4 finals
"The Curse Breaker of Cairo" made it into the second round of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards, but was cut today.
I'm going nuts waiting for Amazon to post my reviews that resulted in the cut.
Although I am not on the official site for ABNA exerpts, one can read a long excerpt by clicking on 'Look Inside' on the Kindle version of Curse Breaker.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
