The newest entry in the impressive Legends home arcade series, which already includes the Legends Ultimate and Legends Gamer, has been revealed in a fascinating new teaser. Scheduled for release at major retailers in the US later this year, the AtGames Legends Pinball looks like a full-size home virtual pinball machine to be reckoned with, particularly since it utilizes the same popular Open and Connected platform that the Legends Ultimate and Legends Gamer already use to great effect.
More info on the pinball machine and the other upcoming 2020 AtGames products should be out soon, but for now, enjoy the teaser from PDubs Arcade Loft and The Tech Buzz.

And just before I was going to publish this post, Unqualified Critics did a video too, which you can see below.
Finally, for those interested, there’s already a fan page for the AtGames Legends Pinball on Facebook. You can check it out here.

Some images from the Travis Scott concert on Fortnite
Travis Scott, aka, the rapper whose name I didn’t bother knowing but whose songs previously annoyed me on a daily basis at the gym – but who’s wildly popular these days – had an unusual tie-in event with the similarly wildly popular game, Fortnite. Besides being able to unlock Travis Scott-related cosmetics and emote, or even purchase a Travis Scott skin that’s worn by other players way too much these days, there were also several in-game concerts. In fact, depending upon when you’re reading this, you may still have a chance to see one of these concerts for yourself.
Being the Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 achievement addict that I am, I was able to complete the various Travis Scott missions, which included bouncing on insane looking inflatable Travis Scott tiki heads, which allowed me to unlock, among other things, an insane-looking hybrid roller coaster/car glider. The final such “mission” was to attend a concert at a specific time, which I did earlier this morning, although admittedly on my iPad while I was doing work-related things on my gaming computer/workstation.
Upon clicking on the astronomical Astro Nomical concert event, you’re transported into a Team Rumble match. I was promptly killed on the concert platform, but, since it’s Team Rumble, I respawned and was able to make my way back to the stage and dance along with all the other players for a while.
Here are some photos from that session:

As you can see, it was some trippy stuff, and frankly reminded me of various virtual reality (VR) experiences I’ve, well, experienced, and would have been even better if wearing a headset was some type of option. It was neat enough, though, as-is, especially in the context of Fortnite.
Once the concert was over, the Team Rumble match commenced. Again, because I was playing it on an iPad while doing other things, I just grabbed some weapons and hid in a bush until the match was over. Fortunately – with absolutely no help from me other than one assisted kill when I pickaxed and damaged the player who ultimately killed me on the stage – my team got a Victory Royale.
I did get two career milestones marked on my timeline for the effort:

Legends Ultimate home arcade firmware update v4.16.0 – More leaderboard enhancements!
The latest firmware for the AtGames Legends Ultimate full-size home arcade. The major highlights for Firmware v4.16.0 (April 22, 2020) are:
Up to 5 different leaderboard entries per game can be submitted per single ArcadeNet account. Each leaderboard entry is distinguished through the use of different 3-letter high score initials.
3 new built-in arcade games have been added to the global leaderboard feature:
Black WidowSide PocketSuper Real Darwin
You can see all the updates for the firmware on the release notes page.

There was also an official statement from AtGames regarding leaderboards:
The leaderboards have been updated to remove the games’ default scores from the rankings. All rankings now showcase only earned scores. As you may know, AtGames has developed a special method for capturing leaderboard-enabled high scores in classic games that never originally supported such a feature. As such, potential issues may arise when registering scores using this technique. We encourage anyone to report potential score anomalies for any leaderboard-enabled games to support@atgames.net and we’ll work towards a solution. Thank you and we look forward to even more friendly competition for high scores in your favorite games!
