The Week 44 Legends Arcade Entertainment Calendar is out. Each week, AtGames brings a new entertainment guide for the Legends Arcade Platform, found only on Legends Arcade Family. More details on the full-size Legends Pinball, virtual pinball machine, revealed – out soon!

AtGames has released more details on their upcoming Legends Pinball machine, which is part of the Legends Arcade Family of products running on the Legends Arcade Platform. You can check out the Legends Pinball web page here.





To summarize, it has 22 licensed Gottlieb pinball tables built-in, 60FPS performance, a huge 32″ HD playfield, a large 15.6″ LCD backglass, all kinds of connectivity and expansion options, the ability to play/add more tables and games, and more. All that, and it’s going to retail for just $599, with pre-orders starting mid-November for shipping at the end of December.

While competing virtual pinball machines from other companies have already been announced (with only one of the 3/4 scale Toy Shock machines actually already out), it looks like none of the others come close to the features, size, or scope of this machine.

Legends Universal Firmware 5.5 now out with 7 new TAITO universal global leaderboard games – Space Invaders, Zoo Keeper, Gun Frontier, etc.

The weekly firmware release for Legends Arcade Family home arcade products, including the full-size Legends Ultimate and transportable Legends Gamer Pro, is now available. Version 5.5’s major new additions are seven TAITO arcade games with universal global leaderboard support. Those games are:

Legends Universal Firmware 5.4 now out – TAITO Arcade Game Pack 2, virtual pinball updates, new leaderboard games, and more!

The latest AtGames Legends Universal Firmware update for Legends Arcade Family products running the Legends Arcade Platform, including the Legends Ultimate full-size home arcade and Legends Gamer Pro arcade control top, is now out. Here are the highlights for version 5.4:





New and expanded universal leaderboards.Taito Game Pack 2 now available, which, when combined with Game Pack 1, totals 47 additional built-in games for Legends Ultimate 1.0 owners.Legends Ultimate 1.1 and Legends Gamer owners now have all built-in games accessible and optimized.pAOX1.2 featuring Team Play for The Leprechaun King.

Bubble Bobble  – The beloved 1986 arcade platformer is back and lets up to two simultaneous players take control of small dragons, Bub and Bob, on a quest to rescue their girlfriends in the Cave of Monsters. There are 100 levels total of bubble blowing (and popping!) fun.

Qix  – Pronounced “Kicks,” this abstract 1981 arcade puzzle game challenges you to draw lines (Stix) to close off parts of a rectangle to ultimately fill-in a majority of the playfield. You’ll need to avoid the titular Qix and persistent Sparx if you want to close off enough of a level to advance. It’s a tough title to master, but one whose unique gameplay keeps you coming back for more!

New single board home arcade solution revealed – Legends Connect

AtGames has revealed a new single board solution called the Legends Connect. This new board has the Legends Arcade Platform operating system and ecosystem built-in and comes with 20 onboard licensed arcade and console games (manual).





The Legends Connect can be used to drive all kinds of full-size, scale, cocktail, countertop, console, virtual pinball, and other projects, and also works as a replacement for the mainboards in Pandora’s Box 6 and 9D series systems (refer to the FAQ and Application Note AN-101: Pandora’s Box Compatibility for more info).
