Final book written in Lost and Found series

Broken Things is done. It's now in the hands of my beta readers and once they have given me their feedback, I can tweak. Phew. I have a long list of things that need doing and writing the blurb is high on the list. My least favorite thing to do. I can rattle off 100,000 words but ask me to sum up why you should read the book and my mind goes blank.

All four books in this series are standalone stories with unique main characters and plots that only last for that book. The link is the paranormal enforcement agency that all the main characters either work for or will work for by the end of the story. But this last book brings all characters in from the earlier books - a last hurrah - so it's probably best read after the others.

I like writing paranormal tales but I do generally set most of them in the contemporary world. There might be the odd visit to hell, heaven, faerieland etc but most of the action takes place in the world we recognise.

I was able to bring a character into this book that I'd first introduced in Archangel's Assassin. So if you wanted to meet West again - you will in Broken Pieces.

Broken Pieces

This is the title of the last book in the Lost and Found series and it's about Tar - head of PR - Paranormal Resolutions - the agency that deals with issues involving the paranormal community. The first part of this book is currently about Tar when he's 15 years old. The other main character is 8. OBVIOUSLY there is no romantic connection between them. I hope readers won't be unhappy to read about the boys' early lives because it plays into what follows.

With a series title like Lost and Found, it was inevitable that there would be back story on the main players. I set myself up for it LOL I used the word -currently- above because I might change my mind about the ages. I'm 60,000+ words into the story - so a way to go yet. Because I don't plot - I have no idea what is going to happen from one page to the next. When the plot isn't straightforward - this can cause issues - sleepless nights, backtracking, rethinks... Every time I try to explain the story, it sounds more and more complex. I don't think it is, but my alpha reader will tell me!

At the same time as writing this, I'm also writing a Jonty novella! No complications with the plot of that!

Apologies

If you've tried to get to this site over the last ten or so days and not been able to, sorry. I was hacked. Money was charged to my bank account and this site vanished. After a lot of stress, multiple telephone calls and emails, Wix was eventually able to restore it today. Whoopee!

The third book in my Lost and Found series - Inbetweeners - will be released on the 20th January. mybook.to/inbetweeners

This is an MM paranormal romantic suspense - with a lot of humour. An opposites attract angel v demon story with a HEA - do I even need to tell you that? LOL

Blurb

An angel and a demon walk into a bar…

It should be the start of a joke, except Emmett and Phoenix loathe each other the moment they meet. Reluctant and mismatched partners they may be, but they’ve been given a job to do on Earth: persuade the newly dead to move on to wherever they’re destined to go.

A friendly word here, a nudge there, all the dead should need is a push in the right direction—but dark forces are working against the pair, and the mission takes a dangerous turn.

From hate at first sight, to toleration, to something more… Except time is running out, and soon Emmett and Phoenix will be torn apart and returned to the worlds from which they came. That’s not what they want, and neither is willing to go back without a fight…

…. Because even though they're dead, they've never felt more alive.

All the books in the series can be read as standalones. They are linked by PR – Paranormal Resolutions, which is an agency policing supernaturals. The books have some overlapping characters.

I made a trailer - here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDNKOPBgl1g

Out today!

My Christmas story What If is out today. ,mybook.to/elsborgwhatif

Eight years later, the bee is returned to Crispin, along with memories of Garrett and his amazing world. But how can any of what Crispin now recalls be possible?

And yet…

What if it wasn’t a dream?

What if Kennedy’s Emporium exists?

What if magic is real?

What if Garrett’s been waiting, wondering why Crispin never came back?

And what if Crispin takes a chance on the best thing that’s ever happened to him, assuming he can find Kennedy’s Emporium again?

Book 3 in the Lost and Found series!

I wanted to share my fabulous cover - made by Jay! No blurb yet - but a rough idea of what it's about -

An angel and a demon walk into a pub… Sounds like the start of a joke except Emmett and Nix hate each other at first sight. Reluctant and mismatched partners they may be, but their mission is critical to humanity: find out why some newly dead aren’t moving on and persuade them it’s time to go. Dangerous work. Lose nine lives and it’s game over. As Emmett and Nix grow to more than tolerate each other, neither wants to get sent back, but they’re running out of time and lives. Are they doomed to fail, or is there more to Heaven and Hell than anyone might think?

Double Trouble out today

This book starts off with a summer camp! Years ago I started to write a children's story about a summer camp for vampires, werewolves, faeries, shifters etc and then was distracted by another project. But those 5 chapters were on my laptop waiting and finally, I found I needed them for a grown-up story. Well, I needed one of them. The rest - well maybe they'll make it into a Young Adult story one day. If I don't get distracted.

Double Trouble is a second chances story, full of action and humour. I had fun writing it. It's the first in a 4 book series - Lost and Found - but all the books can be read as standalones, except maybe the last - though I'm only at the point of making notes for it at the moment. The link between the books is a supernatural agency Paranormal Resolutions - which is where characters work or will work.

Coming up!

Jonty's Halloween will be out on the 20th September.

Double Trouble - the first in a new paranormal series - Lost and Found - is out on the 21st October, followed by book 2 - What If? - a Christmas story on the 11th November

Phew - I'm sort of ahead of myself. Not often I have books ready and waiting to go.

I'm halfway through writing the third book, which as yet has no title, but is about an angel and a demon. There will be a fourth and then I'll be back to contemporary. I've already made notes for that book. Still, I have to finish one and write another first. Oh, and I've just remembered I do have another book part written that I might have to finish first.

Am I good at multi-tasking? I suppose it depends. I don't think I could write more than one book at the same time. Self-edit them yes, but not write. But I can read 4 or 5 books at the same time - by that I mean, they are all over the house dependant on my mood. I can't write with music in the background. It's hard enough if I can hear husband watching the TV. But when I look at my 'To Do' lists, I can see I have a lot going on at the same time. Being the anal freak I am, I tick them off when they're done and then when the lists get messy, I write new lists!

But - Jonty's Halloween is next up! Preorder here mybook.to/jontyshalloween

Out today!

The last in the Unfinished Business series - Waiting for Ru - is out today! mybook.to/waitingforru

It's an age-gap, opposites attract story based around the sport of polo. A couple of the minor characters seemed to want a story of their own, so I wrote a short tale about how they met which you can read if you subscribe to my mailing list. It's on a secret page on this website.
