This is Real
Not ideal to have two books coming out when I feel too ill to talk about them, but such is life. Covid followed by a bad reaction to the flu jab has laid me low.
For a change, this book is set mostly in the US and has one English main character and one American guy. It's amazing how many little phrases don't work both sides of the Atlantic. I hope we caught all the slips! One of the last to be pointed out to me was tumble turn - I had no idea it was called a flip turn in the States!
This is another Christmas story. Less sweet than The Santa Problem but full of heart! I hope you'll give it a try! I learned a lot researching as I wrote it. Tree wells being one subject. Talk about being horrified! Read the book and find out why!

The Santa Problem
is out today.....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNR-sXZAGWs a little trailer I made.
And when you've finished reading the story, if you're a newsletter subscriber, you can read a little bit more on a hidden page on this website. Fill in the contact form to get the link.
I love Christmas stories but I've had a struggle to get here. Covid knocked me out a couple of weeks ago and I'm not better yet. Good thing I'd sorted out all my books and release dates before it struck because I have another book out next week. No extra story with that one, but there are two more Christmas stories coming from me in December. One in a charity anthology and the other is a gift from you to me!

#Best seller on Amazon US and UK!
Thanks to all of you who bought or borrowed a copy of Tell No One. I managed to get an orange banner from Amazon in America and in the UK and I am thrilled!
There has been a bit of discussion about part of the story - the party in particular and whether I should have given any warnings about it. I asked in my Facebook group and opinion was mixed. I decided against a warning in the end because this is not a BDSM book. The MCs are only participating in the 'party' because they are undercover. I did see one comment that I was kink shaming and I'm absolutely not. It isn't a book about BDSM or the particular kink that I go into details about. I made NO comments that would suggest there is anything wrong with having that kink, it's just that my two characters have no interest in it.
I've never written a BDSM book and I likely never will. I have mentioned it in other books, - Summer Girl, Winter Boy springs to mind - but I don't know enough about the lifestyle to want to write a whole story about it.
Tell No One is a thriller - with undercover operatives and I hope an exciting denouement!
Two of the minor characters needed a bit more of a story - so I wrote them one. If you want to read it, please sign up on the contact page to get access to a section of this website that has several more stories - including some Jonty shorts.

Tell No One is out today!
I hope you'll give this romantic suspense a try. The reviews are starting to come in...
I love the characters, the plot and again THE WRITING!!! It’s action packed, a bit twisted and dark, and I struggled to put it down! Great page turner of a story.
The plot is intricate, tightly woven, and full of twists, turns, action, and intrigue.
Tag will steal your heart, make you smile laugh and sometimes make your heart ache. He'll worm himself into your heart the same way he did into Delaney's who thought he has none. I've never read a book by this author that I didn't love

Tell No One
My next release - 29th Sept - will be an MM romantic suspense called Tell No One. (Besides this one there will be two more books out before Christmas!)
It’s not every day that a total stranger asks Tag if he’s…ahem…well endowed. Of course, he’s not going to say no. When he’s offered a life-changing amount of money to go to a party, he’s not going to say no to that either, even though he suspects sex will be involved. But sense prevails and Tag decides to stick to his principles and not go, except things take an alarming turn. Suddenly, he can’t say no. Not if he wants to see another day.
Tell no one. Trust no one. The unbreakable rules that keep Delaney alive. He’s got a role to play at this so-called party, but the cheeky upstart who’s supposed to be part of his cover, seems to be going out of his way to be as aggravating as possible. When Delaney finally registers that unlike the rest of the entertainment, Tag isn’t a willing participant, they join forces and set in motion a chain of events that leads to them both running for their lives.
Tag might be one of the most irritating guys Delaney has ever met, but his resolute cheerfulness and bravery begin to have an unexpected effect. Tag worms his way through Delaney’s defences and keeping him safe now seems the most important job Delaney’s ever had. Suddenly the operative who’s never trusted anyone, finds himself letting Tag into his heart. And wishing for a future that can never be.

Add A Catchy Title
When I come to write a blog post - not often enough, I know, sorry - those four words are at the top of the page. Add a catchy title. If only it was easy.
I finally came up with a title for my Christmas story - This Is Real - it fits and I'm happy with it, but I didn't come to terms with that as a title until late in the book.
The next title I needed was for a work in progress - now finished - that I named Tag after one of the main csharacters. Book was written and in edits before I came up with Tell No One - it's not perfect but I'm going with it.
Now I'm writing another Christmas one because This Is Real - while set at Christmas - didn't feel Christmassy enough to me. Before I'd written one word of it, I had a title - The Santa Problem.
This is just to show you that coming up with titles can be ridiculously easy or a struggle!
No real fixed dates for release of any of these three and The Santa Problem is only 20,000 words so far - though it will be a novella. But November for This Is Real, December for The Santa Problem and I hope for October for Tell No One. A busy autumn.

preorder here mybook.to/bigday Release date 20th May
There's also a little freebie - a prequel here on Prolific Works https://claims.prolificworks.com/free... - prequel to J and D’s Big Day
It’s going to be the day of their lives—their wedding, their way, where it all started: The Dunes Hotel in Northumberland. But from the moment the planning starts, Jonty is overwhelmed. When Devan’s mother starts making suggestions, Jonty’s mouth runs away with him and his inner Groomzilla is in danger of escaping. But it’s when Jonty goes quiet that Devan knows he’s in trouble.
Devan’s not going to let his mother spoil their perfect day. Suddenly, he’s a man on a mission. The venue? Booked. The guest list? A secret. The stag do? In Cato’s somewhat dodgy hands. Devan’s going to do whatever it takes to make sure Jonty gets what he wants. Even if that includes alpacas and penguins and the Northern Lights in the middle of summer. Now it’s time to prove he is the Best Fiancé in the Entire Multiverse.
