New Story in VASTARIEN

Happy New Year. As I'd mentioned in my last post, 2024 will have a fair amount of publication news, the first of which I can share today:
Vastarien: A Literary Journal has announced the Table of Contents for Volume 7, Issue 0. I am proud to have a new story, "Molly on the Stairhead", featured in this issue.
Pre-orders are now open and can be placed here. The issue is expected to drop sometime in the next week or so.
With the release of Volume 7, Issue 0 Vastarien will be on an indefinite hiatus. It's been a tremendous venue for weird Horror fiction and thoughtful scholarship. I extend my thanks to its team and wish them good tidings on their future endeavours.

Winter Solstice

Bidding all of you a winsome Winter Solstice. Although 2023 has been relatively quiet in terms of publication announcements, there are new writings, both fiction and non-fiction, to be unveiled throughout the upcoming year. I look forward to sharing more details on these various projects in due course.

In the meantime, god jul!

A Story for Samhain

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Bernhard Reicher as part of his Nimataion project. Bernhard asks a variety of esotericists, occultists, and magicians about stories that impacted them in their childhood. I had a great time discussing my selection, which can be viewed above.

May this brief video serve as a treat for Hallowe'en. Wishing you all a spellbinding Samhain...

Mycelium Signal podcast

The esteemed Konstantin Tuonihovi and I recently sat down for part one of what is shaping up to be an epic conversation, encompassing Horror, ekstasis, creativity, the liminal, daemonic reality, and so much more. The first episode is now available by clicking the YouTube icon above. It is also streaming on your podcast platform of choice. Part II will be recorded in the near future. Thank you to Konstantin and to the esoteric community of Finland for the opportunity to engage in this discussion.

In other news, there are creative irons in the fire and I hope to have some announcements over the coming months on new Horror stories and essays of esotericism.
