DRS SYED MOHAMAD WIRA TIDAK DIDENDANG PULANG MENEMUI TUHANNYA
Sosok ini begitu sekali istimewa dalam perjuangan PAS semenjak zaman mudanya sehinggalah rohnya melayang dalam usia 63 tahun. Beliau merupakan seorang individu yang sangat mementingkan aspek tarbiyyah di dalam PAS. Ketegasan beliau di dalam wahdatu al fikri sangat menjadi teladan kepada generasi anak muda. Sosok ini juga menjadi tulang belakang kepada gerak kerja ILPAS. Anak Kelantan yang lebih dimesrai dengan jolokan "Pak Syed" adalah pejuang yang telah memberikan baktinya untuk memerkasa jamaah Islam di negara ini. Berbual dengannya, kita akan hanyut dengan lautan fakta sejarah tentang PAS, peralihan kepimpinan ulama, tokoh-tokoh PAS dan beliau juga semenjak awal antara tenaga penerangan yang penting di peringkat Pusat.
Drs Syed Mohamad adalah antara produk mahasiswa Kelantan di zaman Dato Asri menjadi pemimpin PAS.
"Ana antara anak-anak Kelantan yang dihantar belajar ke luar Negara oleh kerjaan Kelantan, bagi memastikan ramai anak negeri itu Berjaya belajar di peringkat pengajian tinggi", katanya kepada saya beberapa tahun lepas saat ditemu ramah.
"Antara pelajar Malaysia yang telah ditarbiah oleh gerakan Islam disana ialah Ustaz Bunyamin Yaakob, Ustaz Wan Mustapha Rusdi, Ustaz Wan Jamil", sambung Pak Syed mengenang bagaimana Dewan Dakwah Islamiyyah Indonesia yang dipimpin oleh Pak Natsir mengkaderkan pelajar-pelajar pusat pengajian tinggi. Saya mengunyah maklumat dengan begitu berjelira, kerana biasanya pengkaderan dakwah rancak di Timur Tengah oleh gerakan fenomenal, Ikhwanul Muslimin.
"Dato' Asri, juga mempunyai sisi putih dan berjada pada PAS, antaranya di zaman beliau pelajar-pelajar ditaja oleh PAS, pergi belajar ke Iraq, maka lahirlah tokoh seperti Ustaz Hasan Shukri, Ustaz Mohd Daud Iraqi, Ustaz Hashim Jasin dan lain-lain lagi", katanya perlahan dengan suara mendatar.
Pak Syed agak objektif dalam menilai sejarah perjuangan PAS. Dia adalah anak muda yang turut teransang untuk melihat perubahan kepimpinan PAS pada tahun 1982. Drs Syed mohamad yang mempunyai 7 orang cahaya mata memang sangat rapat dengan warga Markas Tarbiah, beliau adalah tetamu tetap majlis berbuka puasa setiap petang dan solat tarawih pada malamnya. Anak-anaknya begitu rapat dan manja dengan bapa mereka maka tidak pelik, usai solat jenazah di masjid Rahimah, anaknya yang keempat dihujung suara yang tersekat-sekat mengungkapkan, "Kami bangga dengan ayah kami, ayah kami seorang pejuang".
Saya semenjak zaman belajar di kampus Universiti Malaya (UM), telah pun mengenali beliau terutama apabila mencari bahan kajian tesis sarjana Muda.
"Nanti dah siap tesis, hantar satu naskah ke pejabat PAS", katanya tegas.
Perhubungan kami bertambah rapat apabila saya menggalang jawatan Ketua Pemuda PAS Wilayah Persekutuan dan beliau dahulunya adalah mantan Setiausaha DPP WP. Beliau telah mengarang beberapa buah buku dan puluhan kertas kerja pembinaan fikrah ahli-ahli. Pernah ditawarkan untuk melanjutkan pelajaran ke peringkat PhD dalam dekad 80-an.
"Ana orang miskin, tak cukup belanja dan kerajaan negeri Kelantan yang dipimpin PAS jatuh pada tahun 1978″, tukasnya perlahan, jiwanya begitu akrab dengan pendidikan.
"Enta jangan malas belajar. PAS ini, perlukan ramai orang-orang terpelajar", dia terus memberi nasihat.
"Jangan berhenti ceramah dan kuliah ustaz, nanti enta akan sakit", katanya separuh serius dan beliau tidak pernah lelah memberikan kalam-kalam nasihat buat kami anak-anak muda Wilayah Persekutuan.
Beberapa hari sebelum ini, Pak syed bercakap dengan beberapa teman, "Ana nak meninggal seperti Ustaz Fadhil Nor, mati dalam berjuang", katanya dengan bersemangat.
Beliau dipanggil pulang pada hari Jumaat yang penuh berkah dan disolati jenazah dengan jemaah yang memadati masjid usai solat jumaat. Dewan Pemuda PAS Malaysia merakamkan takziah buat keluarga almarhum. Wira tak didendang ini adalah insan dengan seribu keteladanan di jalan dakwah yang memerlukan manusia yang ikhlas. SPR Jangan Menyibuk Urusan Parti Politik

[image error]Dewan Pemuda PAS Malaysia (DPP Malaysia) membidas tindakan Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya (SPR) yang 'menyibuk' terhadap urusan parti politik lain dengan mengusahakan agar Pilihanraya Umum di Parlimen dan Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) di seluruh negara kecuali Sarawak didakan serentak.
DPP Malaysia berpendapat SPR tidak berhak masuk campur terhadap urusan pihak lain sedangkan urusan kendaliannya banyak lagi yang tidak selesai. Dari segi undang-undang tidak menyekat mana-mana kerajaan negeri untuk mengadakan pilihanraya umum secara berasingan, mengapa SPR pula 'terhegeh-hegeh' mahu menasihati parti politik untuk mengadakan PRU secara serentak?
Sepatutnya urusan mengadakan pilihanraya umum secara serentak atau berasingan diputuskan oleh Pakatan Rakyat atau Barisan Nasional, dan SPR tidak berhak mempertikai atau campurtangan terhadap perkara ini. Tugas utama SPR adalah melaksanakan perjalanan pilihanraya agar ia berlangsung dengan baik, sistematik, telus, dan adil. Mencampuri urusan parti-parti politik terutama pembangkang akan dilihat oleh rakyat bahawa SPR terikat dengan arahan pihak tertentu yang berkepentingan.
DPP Malaysia mengesyorkan, jika SPR benar-benar mahu menasihati pemimpin parti politik, adalah lebih baik Pengerusi SPR, Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohamad Yusof menasihati dahulu Perdana Menteri agar mengumumkan tarikh pilihanraya umum kepada rakyat daripada awal. Ini lebih penting supaya semua pihak dapat membuat persiapan bagi menghadapinya. Merahsiakan tarikh pilihanraya merupakan suatu tindakan yang tidak bijak kerana boleh mengganggu jadual parti politik dan rakyat keseluruhannya.
DPP Malaysia juga mencadangkan agar SPR menasihati Perdana Menteri untuk mewujudkan Kerajaan Sementara selepas pembubaran parlimen sehingga tarikh pengundian. Ini akan lebih adil kepada semua pihak yang bertanding dalam PRU ke 13 nanti. Ia boleh mengekang budaya rasuah, projek segera, penyalahgunaan kuasa dan wang dan lain-lain lagi.
