Vintage Photos of Guys

I found a web site with more vintage photos I figured I'd share. This one is very well done and you can disappear for hours. Here's the link. Below is a photo from this site.

May 11th Release: Cowboy Mike and Buddy Boy

I just received the final draft of "Cowboy Mike and Buddy Boy." The release date will be May 11, 2012. It's a short story e-book being released with Loveyoudivine.com. It's gay fiction with a hint of romance. But I hate to classify anything I write anymore because someone else always does it for me. And I don't mind this at all. Generally speaking: CMABB is gay, and it's fiction. I'll post more links when it's released.

No spoilers, though. Here's the blurb and a brief excerpt.

When Noah realiz...

Underwear Tour of Davey Wavey's Bachelor Pad

It's really not a tour about his underwear. He's just wearing underwear. It's really a tour of his condo and some of his interesting things. I'd wrestle him to the ground for the chandelier.

So Target Won't Sell Amazon Products Anymore

When I read this I had to smile. Late last night I ordered a stool for my kitchen on Amazon, without knowing anything about this thing between Amazon and Target. I have a huge island in the middle of the kitchen with verde butterfly granite, but it's not the kind of island with an overhang where you can place bar stools. I didn't want that. I'd rather have the storage space on both sides of the island with easy access because I collect china and have five sets of formal china, services for tw...

Video with Outspoken Gay Author: Hal Bodner

Lately, every time I see someone complain offhandedly about the quality of self-published/indie books on Amazon (or anywhere) I tend to cringe a little. And that's because it's getting tired as a general statement. Even though there are bad self-published books out there all over the place (and a few bad published books as well that cost far too much money), there are also experienced, bestselling authors now moving into self-publishing. The reasons authors who have been traditionally publish...

RIP, Anthony Zatti

This past year I grew to know an older gay men who lived in New York. His name was Anthony Zatti and he was fascinated with digital publishing. I was fascinated by his interest. And we started communicating together through facebook with private messages and status updates. I just learned he passed away this afternoon through a mutual friend and I wanted to say something about him in a post. His books are here on Amazon. And I wrote two posts about him here.

He often told me stories of what i...

Things NOT to Ask a Gay Guy: Davey Wavey

When I saw this the first time I decided it's just too good not to share. I'd honestly never heard of "Davey Wavey" until I saw the video, but after I did I decided to follow him on social media. I should have known about this. It would have saved me a lot of aggravation when I get frustrated sometimes at things I read on the Interwebs written by people who aren't gay. Or, better, when editors question my experience as a gay man.

Of course I couldn't agree more with everything in the video. A...

He Spanked Her Bottom!!

I'm talking about something that just recently happened in Philadelphia news. The guy I'm talking about may or may not have spanked anyone's bottom. He may have grabbed them, groped them, or patted them, but he did this without their consent. When Tony sent me this link, I had to wonder how the local news would handle a story like this. I doubt they would have used the word "spanked."

In Philadelphia, there's a man running around grabbing the bottoms of unsuspecting women. He runs up behind t...

Allmaleromance.com

I know I've posted about AMR before on the blog. But I'm doing this quick post for two reasons: one, I just signed up for an ad with them for "Chase of a Lifetime" and I am shamelssly mentioning it now, and two, because I do think they really are one of the best places to find a list of most m/m romance authors.

It's one of those web sites, a lot like Elisa Rolle's review site, where you can tell the people who run it really do love what they do. They love what they read as well. It's all abo...

Artistic Photos With Gay Bathhouse Images Shut Down

I often link the The Bathhouse blog because whoever is writing this blog seems to pick up interesting news and information all the time. A lot of this info is related to bathhouses, but not always. Sometimes it's political, sometimes social, and sometimes it deals with the arts. I can say this: I'm never bored with anything I read there, and whatever I do read there is smart, well executed, and teaches me something I didn't already know.

Recently, an art exhibit was censored in India because...
