There's been a lot in the news about bisexual people this week. And I think it's long overdue.
Instagram famous and popular model Reece King has confirmed he is bisexual, in an interview with Gay Times.King has spoken about his sexuality on his social media before. I'm surprised at Ms. Know-It-All, J. K. Rowling. I've never seen a Harry Potter film, and I never plan to see one. It's not my genre, and it never will be. So I'm only linking to this. I do, however, have one comment at the end.

One minute it's all smiles and that praying hand gesture, and then next they're stabbing someone in the back or sexually assaulting someone. Or pretending it doesn't happen in Hollywood. And no one ever hears the truth...until now.

This is fantastic. I hope it's true. I don't think they are actually dating in a romantic sense, but this article says that Joe Kennedy III is taking a trans soldier along as his date to the State of the Union event. Clearly, it's a political statement, and one that needs to be made.

I almost posted something else about THAT movie that's constantly being referred to as a gay romance, but I won't. I'm so sick of reading about that BS I don't even want to see the title of THAT film again. So here's something positive, and current, about one decent gay man who is trying to make a huge difference. I think we need to see more of this sort of thing, and a lot less of that antiquated Hollywood nonsense.

Those of you familiar with Amish culture know that Amish people refer to everyone else in mainstream society as "English."

This number is staggering. And, this is also another reason why I feel so strongly about protecting gay kids, and why I don't stop talking about movies like Call Me By Your Name where there is a barely legal 17 year old teen having sex with an older man. Kids in general, but especially gay kids, seem to be the most vulnerable these days in many different ways. And that bothers me.
