Why Gay Olympians Are Marketing Gold
This is awfully condescending, and it's one good example of how gay people get insulted on a daily basis. What they are basically saying is that it's okay to use gay people and to exploit them for monetary gain. And this is no reflection on Kenworthy or Rippon. I think they're both wonderful. I'm talking about all gay people right now, in general. I also think this kind of thing happens to a lot of gay people on a much smaller scale.

I saw this earlier today on Twitter and I figured I'd share it here for people who aren't on Twitter. Kenworthy bruised the side of his body so he pulled down his pants and took a bathroom selfie to show his followers.

I have no idea what Butt Magazine is about, but here's a piece that talks about how it relates to gay culture through a new documentary titled, After Butt.
BUTT ran quarterly from 2001 through 2011 and helped an entire generation define just what it means to be gay. It was sort of a half lifestyle, half porn zine, known for it’s iconic pink pages, candid interviews, and, well, lots of amateur photos of dudes’ butts.

A guy is suing a cop, because he claims the cop sexually assaulted him while he was in the hospital.
The alleged incident happened at an ICU unit in Adelaide, Australia back in 2012. The victim was admitted after suffering a gunshot wound.

This is all too familiar to me and I can't say I'm surprised. It reminds me of same sex marriage and how almost every single politician refused to deal with it, so they let it go to the states. No one in this current administration wanted to even interpret it. They side-stepped, only this time it's a lot worse because it's this administration revoking President Obama's guidance and safety for transgender students.
