What I Learned From the Staples Commercial

Think I'll go to Staples today and yell "Wow!, that's a low price!" Anyone wanna go with me to say, "Wow that IS a low price!"
Turns out people either hated or loved this commercial. Either way though, Staples ad campaign is effective. Why?
