L.I.S.T.

What is LIST?  Well, it stands for Larissa Ione and Stephanie Tyler  (and of course, Sydney Croft is there as well) and it’s the name of the new fan forum that will officially launch today, June 9th.  It’s the brainchild of a wonderful person who approached us and asked where our forum was and would we mind if she started one for us.  Of course, we were honored and so Lo began her work.

June 9th is actually a perfect day to officially launch LIST (well, perfect for me - Larissa is currently drivi

The fishing trip

Zoo’s, not mine, although I’m way jealous.

First, he got the little fishy on the line - here little fishy….

And then Kenny (fishing guide) urged the nice little fish closer to the boat…

Kenny wants to show you the little fish

The little fish is apparently quite heavy

The little fish has a nice, wide smile

Fisherman hug for the joy of it all…

And then they praise the gods of fishing for a good day.

Not bad work if you can get it…

The way my muse rolls

Cam’s books is done - it’s the one due out after the third book in the SEAL trilogy, tentatively titled, Don’t Look Back.  Although I hesitate to use the word done, because that seems…wrong.  I can’t say the first draft is done because it’s really not a first draft.  The first pass, maybe?  The one that I send to my editor with the highest of hopes (mainly that she doesn’t hate it - I’m never under any illusions about revisions - I need them) and the one that ultimately comes winging back to me

How would you react?

Zoo and I watched Taken, with Liam Neeson this weekend, and all I have to say is, dude, I’d like the man on my side.  It was so awesome watching his one man army routine, his focus only on finding his daughter.  I’d like to think that kind of pure adreneline is possible - in real life and character life - when something big is at stake.  I’ve read that you don’t know what you’re capable of until you’re pushed and it always bothers me when I read a review of anything that says, that wouldn’t / co

Book due

Writeminded post on Gus and his new friends is here.  Writeminded Chat on Writerspace is tonight at 9PM EST.

And yeah, the book is due, as the title of the post says.  In two weeks.  And galleys for Jake’s book are coming at the end of this week.  And Larissa and I have a Sydney short story to write.

Did I mention the book due in 2 weeks?  Because it’s not finished.  It’s almost like it doesn’t want to write itself, which is really not such a great thing.  And for every 1K I write, I swear I need

Why your mom shouldn’t plot your books

So my mom calls me yesterday and is all like, Did you see that a SEAL team rescued that captain?

I tell her that I’ve been following all of this forever at this point and say yes.

Then she’s like, you know, I was washing dishes when I heard it and I stopped to watch the story.  And then I turned back to washing the dishes and I thought, you know, this is something Stephanie should write about.  She should write about the SEALs.

(This is the point where I tell my new readers that my mom has never re

Amazon ranking issue update

Well, according to Publisher’s Weekly, Amazon Says Glitch To Blame for “New” Adult Policy.

Personally, I don’t think think it was a glitch based on the very specific genre of books that were stripped of searches and rankings.  I’d like to see a better explanation, but I’m pleased that they’ve backtracked their position and claim to be working on the glitch.

As of tonight, none of the Sydney Croft books have rankings.  Nor does Sydney Croft show up on a search under All Departments. We’ll see how q
