YAY! Summer 2010 is going to be awesome... .

I had a phone call with my editor this afternoon. I <3 her. She is a genius.

Anyway, we have agreed upon my Summer 2010 book (the second book in my two book deal) and I am raring to get writing!! 

Sadly, I can't share any details about it yet. It's Super Seeekret. I shall announce it all as soon as I am given clearance. So you KNOW you want to keep an eye on my blog, right?

Until then, you just get this teeny tiny hint....

There will be a life-sized My Little Pony.


Now, to get to work! :-)  

Cover Story (and Project 17 covers..)

If anyone is curious about the evolution of the cover for Prada and Prejudice, I did a cover story with Melissa Walker Here

Now, on to another cover feature.... While out visiting Prada & Prejudice on release day, I saw the paperback cover for Project 17. I have to admit, I kind of crinkled my nose. The hardback cover is by far my favorite-- more creepy, and it captures the atmosphere of the book better.

Publisher's Weekly Review

Once upon a time, in early 2006 or possibly late 2005, Cyn and I friended one another on LJ. (She's cyn2write , if you want to do the same!)  Back then, she critiqued THE JETSETTERS SOCIAL CLUB, and I crtiqued a hilarious MG she wrote called Me, Me, and Me. I knew when I read it she'd be published someday.

But for both of us, it wouldn't be those novels. We continued critiques, emails, and obsessive tendencies. A year passed, and the emails grew a little more frustra

Book Launch Party Recap!

So, Friday turned out to be completely and totally amazing. It was a two hour whirlwind of signing book after book.

First up, the shoe report: plaid peep-toe sandals.






I also picked up the cupcakes and put the little high heel toppers on them, which I think turned out cute!

Prada Reviews...

Wow. Can I just say how freaking amazing it is to have my book finally, after all this time, be out there for everyone to read? There's something inherently nerve-wracking about that, but it's also jump-up-and-down exciting.

The reviews have started rolling in, so here are a few!
