I’m almost done with the first book and I already ordered the other two. I want it to end all happy but I have a sinking feeling this series is gonna leave me in tears. It’s too brutal and honest to have the central message “AND THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER”
…but like I kinda still hope that’s how it goes
Happy endings are in the eye of the beholder, I can’t promise they all live happily ever after, but I do consider it a positive ending for the right people, as much as such a thing is possible.
