My latest novel, THANKS A LOT, JOHN LECLAIR, is now available from Harmony Ink Press, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon. (Or purchase/order it at your local book store! Local book stores need love too.)
Here’s some more info, just in case the cover and title didn’t make it clear that this novel involves a whole lotta hockey.
Sixteen-year-old Emmitt LaPoint has secretly been writing letters to his hockey idol, John LeClair, for years. So it’s probably only fitting that Emmitt’s small Vermont town seems desperate to make him the next LeClair. After all, Emmitt is about to lead his high school hockey team to the state championship, he has a near-perfect GPA, and he’s liked by almost everyone.
But even golden boys have problems, and Emmitt has more than his share. His father’s back in town to breathe down his neck. He’s happily dating his coach’s nephew, Dusty, but almost nobody knows he’s gay—and that secret is getting harder and harder to keep.
When Emmitt discovers Dusty is keeping secrets of his own, he’s forced to decide exactly what kind of golden boy he wants to be.
Huge, huge thanks to all the readers who have supported and encouraged by writing. I very much hope you enjoy this one. :)
A new book from Johanna Parkhurst at Harmony Ink, check it out!!!

VALHALLA on Kindle Unlimited!
therearebrownieseatingmyhouse:
:
Valhalla by Ari Bach is now free to read on Kindle Unlimited!!!
Kindle Unlimited!
Valhalla!
Free!!!You can read Valhalla for free on Kindle Unlimited is the gist of what I’m saying.
As you may have guessed from the post above, my novel Valhalla is now free to read on Kindle Unlimited!
The first chapter is still free there even if you’re not on Kindle Unlimited.
Wait…i didn’t get it. How much is it?
Well, rumor has it that on Kindle Unlimited, it’s actually free!
I’m sorry, could you repeat that? I’m having a hard tim following. What’s on Kindle Unlimited?
VALHALLA!!!
A mass of explosions, death, cannibalism, and one case of intense ozone are corroding my ability to hear (and smell) could you explain a little more clearly?
Indeed:
The novel Valhalla by Ari Bach is now free to read on Amazon Kindle Unlimited.
Be warned it only contains more explosions, death, cannibalism, and in lieu of ozone, a giant adorable walrus.
Seriously. Giant adorable walrus book for free on Kindle Unlimited.
It’s a win-win situation for all!
what? i’m sorry this just isn’t clear
It is confusing but I think I’ve figured it out and what it’s trying to say is that Valhalla by Ari Bach is now on Amazon Kindle for free. Either that or it means a swarm of angry bees is coming to encase us in honeycomb pods in which we too shall metamorphose into bees, giant bees that will plague the world making more bees, and more bees, until everything is bees and the bees will rule.
But I’m guessing it’s more about Valhalla being on Kindle Unlimited. Maybe…
Let us all hope!
Okay, I started this so I want to clarify it all personally: It means that Valhalla, the novel by Ari Bach, is on Kindle Unlimited and can be read for free. Also the bees will destroy us all.

The campaign to Ban Valhalla...

The campaign to Ban Valhalla was insufficient.
It’s time to BURN this book!Valhalla by Ari Bach has met with ferocious opposition from many readers. It’s infamous for its over-the-top violence, gay main characters, controversial sequels and blasphemous prose. Shortly after its release a campaign began to ban Valhalla from libraries and schools.
But it wasn’t enough. The book is still out there and millions of readers are unaware of its danger and obscenity and deviant moral outlook that contaminates all who read it! We need to warn the world. We need to make Valhalla by Ari Bach the most notorious, maligned, feared book ever to be published! Join the new campaign and spread the word like wildfire!
What you can do:
Familiarize yourself with this evil tome by getting a copy and reading it cover to cover! Then the sequels, Ragnarok and Gudsriki!
Buy it for friends so they can see how horrifically disturbing and offensive it is!
If you can’t afford it, just read the free sample on Amazon to understand its evil!
Request your local library buy it to further document its infamy, and read it all for free!
Ask your local politician to hold a Valhalla book burning before city hall!
When you’re done with your copy, burn it (safely) and post video for all to see that they may grow to hate this book that they don’t understand!
Scatter its ashes to the wind (in an environmentally sound location)!
Buy another to replace it and burn it annually! A new Winter tradition! We cannot sit idly by and allow this book to fall into obscurity! We must fight while we still can to condemn it to the fire! So make like Brünnhilde and Burn Valhalla now!!!

(Always be safe with fire and only burn Valhalla with a fire fighter/truck present.)
I went to burn my copy. I was thinking so hard about how obsessive and slimy Wulfgar was and how spiteful and zealous Mishka was, and how utterly betrayed I felt by Veikko… but then I remembered all about how much I loved Vibeke and Violet and Varg and Umberto and Nelson… and I just can’t do it… Forgive me Ari, I cannot burn your book, nor can I afford to keep buying copies… I’ve bought 3 already. One for me to keep, one to lend to friends and one to donate to the library.
You made me kind of tear up :.)

Vibeke: What’s your favorite cop movie?
Violet: Robocop. It’s got everything I like: gratuitous violence.
Vibeke: Oh, I thought you were listing things.
Violet: I was. I’m done.
