Hex On Tour!!

First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for Bringing Hexy Back all over Facebook/Twitter/your blogs! It is SO COOL to see the cover everywhere! Y'all are rockin' it!

Can you believe we're only FIVE DAYS AWAY from release?? I cannot believe it. Perhaps you can tell from ALL THE CAPITALIZATION. I literally keep forgetting to eat this week, and if you know me and how much I enjoy tasty foodstuffs, that is saying something!

One week! One week until HEX HALL comes out! *runs, flails, knocks things over* When I got up this morning, I was determined to make up a song about my book release to the tune of The Barenaked Ladies' "One Week." So far, I've come up with, "It is one week 'til my book comes out..."

Sorry for the Blog Silence, y'all! Edits for HEX HALL 2: MAD HEX came last week PLUS I have a bajillion blog interviews to do, plus tour stuff, and...yikes. Luckily, Book 2 will be OFF MY DESK by tomorrow, and all those blog interviews will be turned in my Monday, so I'll be back to blogging (and interviewing characters!) soon.

Also, let me note that we have LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TO GO before the book hits the shelves! 12 days, and then the world gets Hexy!

Meet Elodie!

WOO-HOOOOO! One month! ONE MORE MONTH, and then My Sweet Book Beh-Beh is out on the shelves! I really can't believe it. I've been living with this story and these characters for so long, and now everyone is about to meet them! Yay! (Also: EEK!)

Y'all. Y'ALL!! I cannot believe how hard y'all brought the happy. Seriously, every single comment on here brought a big smile to my face, and some even brought tears to my eyes. What was so cool was that in reading all of the comments, I thought, "Yes, ALL OF THESE THINGS bring The Happy to me, too! GLEE! Families! Books! Music!" Truly it was a beautiful thing, and I really appreciate all of you participating.

Oh, Gentle Readers.

What a week it's been! There have been AWESOME things, like getting a whole bunch of HEX HALLs in the mail! And then there have been SUBSTANTIALLY LESS AWESOME THINGS like car trouble, and some crap happening to a friend that made me feel The Sads, and roughly 90 bajillion things piling up at once!

So today, on this gray and gloomy Friday, I decided that this world needs more flowers and sausages. It is time to bring the happy and bring it HARD.

Today, my doorbell rang, and I heard the tell-tale *thump* of a package being dropped off. On Friday, Editor Jen emailed me to let me know that a couple of copies of HEX HALL were on their way to me and Agent Holly. When Agent Holly got hers later that afternoon (what with being in NYC and all), she called me and raved about how gorgeous it was in person, and sent me a picture of it sitting on her shelf.
