TJ O'Shea: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I have to say, I was smiling even before I started writing this introduction. The first thing you see on Taryn’s website is ‘Homophobes click the back button, it's about to get real gay in here.’ and I found that hilarious! Anyway, moving onto the actual point…

TJ O’Shea is the author of two amazing LGBTQ+ books. Beyond The Blue is a humorous yet dramatic book containing one of my favourite tropes, ice queen, and To Be With You is a small-town, rich-girl-poor-girl romance set in the early 00s a...

It looks amazing and I’m so excited!! Trans rep and wolves, you say? What could be better?

So let’s hear from Elena herself!

Roslyn Sinclair: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I actually discovered Roslyn Sinclair before I knew she was Roslyn Sinclair.

I first knew her as Telanu, as a fanfiction writer. I stumbled upon her ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ fanfiction one day, and before I knew it, I was hooked. To date it’s been the only fanfiction I’ve really enjoyed. But now’s not the time to fangirl over that, so I’ll just say… I was so happy when I discovered she’d written more books! The X Ingredient in particular is a personal favourite of mine, and I can’t wait to read...

Elle Armstrong: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I recently finished Elle Armstrong’s novel Crash Dance (pictured) and oh my God… I absolutely loved it!! Elle is a fabulous writer who only became a writer due to what she calls ‘a silly little accident’, but which changed her life, forced her to stop working and made her turn to writing to save her ‘already dubious sanity’. (I should stress that those are NOT my words, but hers, on her website .) I’m very glad she did start writing, for if she hadn’t, the world would be deprived of Crash Dance, ...

Teresa Purkis: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I first met Terry at the South Coast Sapphic Hang Out in Crawley last May. Her books immediately intrigued me – especially when I discovered she has tasters of them all on her website, which I think is a fabulous idea! Terry is the author of seven Sapphic books (most recently Never Again , which came out last June), and a non-fiction book all about her home city of Bristol. On top of that, she’s taught Mathematics and Physical Education, played football, and now in her retirement goes cruising, a...

E.J. Noyes: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Even if you’ve never read any of her books, it’s extremely likely that you’ve heard of or seen people talking about them. E.J. Noyes is, after all, a best-selling and award-winning author, of twelve books including Ask, Tell , Pas de Deux and most recently Schuss . On top of that, she’s a brilliant human being with a great sense of humour, and I’ve been lucky enough to get her involved with Sapphic Fiction February! Enjoy this interview - happy Wednesday!

Introduce yourself! Tell us a little bit ...

Abigail Taylor: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

This cold Tuesday morning is much improved by the arrival of Abigail Taylor ’s new Valentine’s-themed novella, Unwrap Me. If her previous books are anything to go by, Unwrap Me will be full of warmth and emotional connection as protagonists Ashton and Willow discover their love again, and I can’t wait to get stuck in on my Kindle!

To celebrate the release of Unwrap Me, Abby is Day Seven of Sapphic Fiction February! Make sure you go and check out her books today!

Hi Abby! Introduce yourself! Tel...

Barbara Winkes: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Barbara Winkes is an author of many talents. I can just about cope with writing two genres (historical fiction and Sapphic fiction) but Barbara does it all! Suspense, thrillers, contemporary romance, speculative fiction, crime AND holiday romances… have I missed any?? I am quite frankly in awe of Barbara – to be able to keep track of so many characters must be a task in itself, let alone writing about and publishing them!

I was absolutely delighted when Barbara agreed to be interviewed for Sapp...

Clare Ashton: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

If you haven’t read a book by Clare Ashton yet… well, frankly, what are you doing?? Clare is an uber-talented author whose writing will immerse you from the get-go with her vivid descriptions of the beautiful places in which she sets her novels. She inspired the way I wrote the Cornish village of Miltree in my own book The Summer We've Had . From busy, built-up London (including places such as the Whispering Gallery) in Finding Jessica Lambert to the gorgeous town of Ludbury in The Goodmans , Clar...

Dr Suzanne Moss: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Happy Saturday, everyone! Today’s Sapphic Fiction author interview is with Dr Suzanne Moss , author of Observations on the Danger of Female Curiosity , a very well-received, immersive piece of Sapphic historical fiction that will educate you as well as entertain you. Sue’s background as a horticultural education professional and researcher in eighteenth-century gardens and collections has lent her writing extra dimension, and I really enjoyed reading her interview, as her story is so interesting! ...
