Adrian J. Smith: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

The final interview of Sapphic Fiction February is with the one and only Adrian J. Smith . AJ writes many different types of books, from police procedurals to vampires to sweet age-gap romances, but women-loving-women is always at her heart.

It’s very fitting that we’re closing Sapphic Fiction February with AJ, because she also runs a book club! Every month, on a Saturday, a group of Sapphic Fiction readers gather on Zoom to talk about what they’re reading, normally with a guest author. And toda...

Chloe Keto: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

The eagle-eyed amongst you – especially those who have been following my blog for a while – may notice that this is not the first time I’ve interviewed Chloe Keto. I actually interviewed her back in October – you can read that interview here ! I enjoyed getting to know Chloe so much that I knew I had to bring her back for Round Two, just with some different questions!

Chloe Keto is the author of Ransom To Love , a Sapphic romance full of computery geekery, trans rep and an adorable cat! I met Ch...

Clare Lydon: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I’m not going to lie to you… I may have squeaked, just slightly, when Clare Lydon agreed to do this interview.

After all, she is one of my favourite authors! And, in fact, she and T.B. Markinson were the first Sapphic Fiction authors I discovered, back in 2021, with their book One Golden Summer . Clare has countless Sapphic books out, all of which are incredible reads, from cosy village romance A Taste of Love to her city-based London Romance series. And she also has a fabulous sense of humour –...

S-Jay Hart: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Just look at that book cover for Oh My Stars . Isn’t it beautiful?

Cover design is just one of S-Jay Hart’s many talents. Among the others are being an awesome friend, poet and human being… oh, and that other tiny matter of being a fabulous writer too! She recently released a book of poetry, called Pluto and the Debris (isn’t that an incredible title?), but what really shot them into the Sapphic fiction world was her debut novel, Oh My Stars. Which is exactly what most people say when they reali...

Emily Banting: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

It’s safe to say that Emily Banting has a passion for writing about women over forty, both in literature and on screen. She is a screen-writer as well as a novelist, and is supremely talented at both, giving women over forty the voices they have been missing for so long. Combine that with a love of and degree in Archaeology and Heritage Management, and you have a recipe for success!

I recently finished Emily’s latest novel, Broken Beyond Repair , after seeing tons of online chatter and many enth...

Nikki Markham: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

It’s safe to say that Nikki Markham is multi-talented. She writes both M/M and F/F romances under two award-winning pen names, all the characters of which are three-dimensional, emotionally charged and packing one hell of a punch. As Nikki , she has two books out, both of which have been incredibly well-received – in fact, one review of Impact labels Nikki as ‘always one to break expectations in the most interesting ways’, which is absolutely intriguing!!

Time to find out more about Nikki!

Intr...

Jacqueline Ramsden: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I challenge anyone not to love Jacqueline Ramsden . I mean, what is there about them NOT to love?! A fabulous and talented author whose stories never fail to warm the heart (especially The Art of Growing , which I read in one day and am reviewing on my newsletter in a few days time!) and a beautiful soul… I could go on! She and Lily Seabrooke (who I interviewed here just a few days ago) recently released a jointly-written novel, One Last Shot , which you DO NOT want to miss. I mean, two of everyone...

Melissa Tereze: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Melissa Tereze is the best-selling author of angsty Sapphic romances such as the Mrs Middleton series, Behind Her Eyes , In Her Arms and most recently Discovery . While age-gap romance is her first love, she has a myriad of tropes, characters and stories within her books. On top of that, she sings at her local bar and has a degree in Sports Development… not to mention walking her adorable Golden Retriever, Garcia. Is there anything Melissa can't do?

It's nigh-on impossible to miss Melissa’s books...

Ami Spencer: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Ami Spencer had me intrigued by their latest book, The Storm Within Her , before they even published it. I mean, just look at that cover! Isn’t it beautiful? Not to mention that its initials – TSWH – are the same as my own book, The Summer We’ve Had … that caused a brief confusion on Twitter when we found that out!! Ami’s writing is full of Sapphic love alongside important real-life topics, including neurodivergence, mental health conditions and gender identity. It’s incredibly important to read a...

Claire Highton-Stevenson: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Without trying to sound over-the-top or ridiculous… I have Claire Highton-Stevenson to thank for a lot. She was the person who gave me the first nudge towards self-publishing, all the way back in October 2021. She also organises the annual South Coast Sapphic Hang Out (SCHSO) in Crawley, UK, every year. I went for the first time last year and made lots of new friends and connections! It's been hard enough work organising Sapphic Fiction February, let alone a full in-person event, so my hat comes...
