Ivy L. James: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Sometimes an author names their book something you honestly wish you’d thought of yourself. In this case, when I saw that Ivy L. James has a debut holiday novel called ‘Make The Yuletide Gay’, I immediately cursed myself for not having thought of that title myself!! But it’s clearly a testament to how talented and intelligent Ivy is, as you will see in this interview!

Hey Ivy - tell us a little more about yourself! Who are you and what do you do?

I'm Ivy, and I write queer romance and poetry!

E. V. Bancroft: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

E.V. Bancroft’s ,website struck me before I even read what she had to say in this interview. According to that, she is the servant to a neurotic cat. Cats are the way to my heart – shh, don’t tell anyone – whether they’re neurotic or not. Sadly, I couldn’t find any pictures of Jerry the cat, but I did find lots of information about the wonderful E.V. Bancroft! And you can read it all too, in the latest interview of Sapphic Fiction February!

So, E.V. - tell us a little about yourself! Who are yo...

Rachel Bowdler: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I am honoured to be the only person, I believe, to possess a signed and annotated copy of Rachel Bowdler’s ,Holding On To Bluebell Lodge . I won it in a giveaway last year and – like the rest of Rachel’s books – it is a wonderful book. Just like Rachel is a wonderful human being, as you can see in this interview!

Rachel, tell us a little bit about yourself! Who are you and what do you do?

I'm a romance author from the north west of the UK passionate about writing queer, often working class and p...

Olive J Kelley: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

One of the things that make my heart sing in books is disability representation. So when Olive J. Kelley introduced themself – as you will see in this interview – as a person who writes ‘a significant amount of disability representation’, I knew we would get along fabulously. And we did – read on to see what else they had to say!

Hey Olive! Tell us a little more about yourself. Who are you and what do you do?

I’m a lesbian author of speculative romance. I write about LGBT people finding hope an...

Jamey Moody: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I don’t think I’ve met a single Sapphic Fiction reader who doesn’t like a Jamey Moody novel.

I mean, what’s not to like? There’s the ,Lovers Landing series set in utter paradise, the ,Sloan Sisters series (including ‘ ,Cat Sloan Is Swirling ’, pictured) and a number of other series and standalones, so there’s something for everyone. Read all about how Jamey does it in this wonderful new interview!

Jamey - tell us a little bit about you! Who are you and what do you do?

I'm a bestselling author of...

Issy Waldrom: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Doesn’t this book, ,Heart’s Claim , have a beautiful cover?

If you’re familiar with Issy on her Twitter, you’ll know that she also has a beautiful profile picture. I personally haven’t yet read any of her books, but combine beautiful covers with a beautiful profile picture, and how can her writing be anything other than… well, beautiful? (I’ve overused the word now, haven’t I?) I really enjoyed hearing about how Issy writes and her opinions on everything, and I know you will too!

Hey, Issy! Tel...

Sabrina Blaum: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

I feel like it’s not often that a Sapphic Fiction author hails from Blyton-esque origins… but Sabrina Blaum does! I certainly agree with her statement that Malory Towers needs a sequel – explained in her interview below – and as soon as I read that, I knew we’d get on very well.

And we certainly did! Here goes – an interview with Sabrina Blaum.

Hey Sabrina! Firstly, tell us a little bit about you! Who are you and what do you do?

I am originally from Germany, but I've lived in the USA for almos...

Matthew Zakharuk: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

The wonderful cover you see in this picture is actually a very recent release!

Imago: A Dystopian Gothic was released just a week ago and it looks utterly thrilling. And I am lucky enough to have the author, Matthew Zakharuk, on my blog today as part of Sapphic Fiction February! Make sure to go and check out Imago as soon as you’ve finished reading this amazing in-depth interview.

Hey, Matthew! Tell us a little bit about yourself - who are you and what do you do?

I'm an author of dark fantasy,...

Abi Payton: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

A huge warm welcome to Abi Payton today. Now, the authors of Sapphic Fiction February have full control over how much they disclose to me in the interview, and I am touched and honoured to have had Abi Payton share her story with me. We share a theme of mental health in both of our books, and this is why I highly recommend you check out ,When The Lonely Walk – as well as Abi’s wonderful interview, of course!

Welcome, Abi. To start, tell us a little bit about you! Who are you and what do you do?...

Diane Billas: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

Diane Billas is a person of many talents. Not only does she play the French horn and the piano, on top of having a husband and child (which some would class as a full-time job in and of itself), she writes wonderful young adult books. ,Does Love Always Win? was released last June, and her next novel Superficial is out this September. Mark it on your calendars, because the book sounds great!

Diane, tell us a little more about yourself! Who are you and what do you do?

I’m a pansexual young adult ...
