Dexter McLeod was born and raised in western Kentucky near the shores of Land Between the Lakes, though he has lived throughout the American south, including Nashville, Tennessee and Charlotte, North Carolina. He's been obsessed with books since childhood, where he could be found haunting his hometown library or creating his own handwritten, staple-bound Choose Your Own Adventure stories. Naturally he grew up to work in bookstores, spending nearly a decade at various Davis-Kidd Booksellers locations.

Dexter writes in the darker shades of Southern Gothic, folk and cosmic horror, science fiction, and the New Weird. His work has been published by Air and Nothingness Press, Dark Moon Books, Eerie River Publishing, The Horror Tree, KJK Publishing ...more

Beau Johnson is possibly the nicest author on Twitter. I lead with that because if you read this book without knowing that, his characters might lead you to assume he is a professional hit man or a serial killer.
