Praise for “Mistakes Not to Make When Avoiding a Rake”

I received an absolutely beautiful review from Bookstagrammer Kassandra Landaverde. Thank you so much, Kassy! Link to full review below.

This book is the most beautiful thing I have read, I love the characters especially Thomas and William Campbell, the end was very stressful, I even cried with happiness at the end, and the Mortons (Holy crumpets! With sugar on top!) how I hate them but they give a nice touch to the book.

Review: The Husband Plot

The Husband Plot by Katherine Grant

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thought this was a well-written, well-researched book. Once I started reading, I was pulled in and couldn’t stop thinking about Lisbeth and Adrian’s adventures. The hero of the book is a mixed-race man and the setting is London, England. The book does not shy away from addressing the complexities of being racialized in the Regency era.

There is a great scene where Lisbeth casts up her disadvantages as a woman and compares it to being a B...

Excerpt from Masks of Desire, a Regency Prequel Story

Chapter 1

July 9, 1792, London

Henry Gardner was on his way to stop a wedding.

Not the actual wedding, mind you. Although he was prepared to dash into the church shouting “I object!” if he must.

He hoped it would not come to that. He still had roughly twenty-four hours before a debacle in a church would be necessary.

If all went well, Caroline Laird would never arrive at the church at all. Unless it were a small church in the village of Gretna Green.

Now he just had to figure o...

Review: Enchanted at Buckthorn Manor

She stared outside, calling for it quietly under her breath. It seemed as if nothing had ever been so important as whether or not a tiny bird would appear, flying at deadly speed toward her bedroom window.

In Jessica L. Randall’s newly released “friends to lovers” romance, Groundhog’s Day meets the Regency. Amy Weston attends a ball, hoping to receive a proposal. Instead, she is placed under an enchantment by a mysterious stranger and winds up reliving the same day over and over.

Enchanted...
